MIL suggested we pop to see what was left at our local Sund3r1@nd store around 3pm. Still loads of 37p wrapping paper, basic trees, decorations, wreathes, tree lights, icicle lights, also real garlands and wreathes. Got the last angel and Christmas tree light displays for £10, one happy bunny here! x (Hmmm to the display decorations with names of staff written on them!)0

Called into the North Shields store on my way home.
They had quite a few 6' trees, and a few smaller ones, quite a few of the santa gnome, fairy and tree light silhouettes, but hardly any sets of tree lights left.
Quite a few multi packs of tree decs, and loads of tinsel and individual decorations.
Nothing that I wanted though.0 -
Popped into the Tottenham Hale branch after work about 6pm today to buy some light bulbs for some new table lamps.
They had quite a lot of tinsel, tree baubles and lights left but they had run out of carrier bags.
The staff were opening bin liners for customers to pack their shopping into.
Got a few bits but in my excitement I ended up buying the wrong light bulbs so will have to go back tomorrow to see what's left (I mean exchange my light bulbs).0 -
Thanks op
I've just got back from my local branch in Harlow and there was hardly anything left. The man said it was packed earlier but now everything was just on a few shelves. They did have mountains of tinsel and individual baubles, some lights and trees. I managed to get 2 rolls of wrapping paper for 37p each and some purple small baubles, garland bells and a big star topper. I paid just under £10 for the lot, bit disappointed I couldn't get the purple snowflake or bigger baubles but I'm happy with what I gotSaving my pennies for my wedding on 10th August 2013!:j

only tinsel and wrapping paper left in my local store, looked like a plague of locusts had swept through, so many empty shelves....
I'm glad actually, as we really didn't need anything else
Pleased some of you managed to grab the bargains;)0 -
After day from hell at work, went to local B&Q at 3pm (when meant to be at work!) missed out on the last 6ft tree by 1 minute grrr, came home asap 5.15pm added lights to my basket and then they were sold out so didnt get them
finished my day off perfectly! Rang store in the city and they had 3 boxes of the white LED 80 ones for £2 they put them back for me and the other store in town put 2 boxes of the LED 400 blue lights back for me for £7 each.
Got to the giant store, I went and collected the reserved ones, sent OH to light section to come back and find him with an arm full of lightsit did involve at one point OH crawling to the back of shelf unit to get the last packet of white lights, thats why I love him though goes the extra mile he he, even if it does mean having a builders bum in the middle of B&Q he he.
In total we got:
X2 boxes of 400 blue led lights
X2 boxes 240 white led lights
X5 boxes of 120 blue and white led lights
X1 box of 120 white led lights
X6 boxes of 80 white led lights.
Total spent £53.00 total saved £159!!!not that I would of spent £212 on lights but would of had to buy some.
Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for posting this as the lights are for our wedding and without this we wouldnt of had matching lights or nowhere near as many now our wedding will be extra pretty I love fairy lights:D:D:D. Total LED bulbs 2480 lol

Oh forgot i got 2 of those as well, they are lovely in the kitchen window,
i've put the angel in the upstairs window and the angel lights across the top looks lovely, not bad for a fiver.
Bought the glass christmas tree, but not impressed with that, only 5 lights inside it, so it's going back.
The glass decorations look lovely hanging from ribbon from the ceiling.
