Welcome kitty. Oopps just posted this on yesterdays by mistake so moving to here...
Hi All,
Just stumbled across this link, seems like a nice idea to have a thread a day. My only problem is (and forgive me I'm new to this and a bit lost) I can't seem to figure out where the "Old Style Forum" comes up on the main forum page so have a feeling I'll never find it again.
Hello Kitty :T
To find the thread tomorrow, go onto the forums, and scroll down to the home + play header, the old style board is under that, look for the thread dated for that day, not sure thats very clear, but hope it helps x0 -
evening everyone
A very late post from me, not sure who reads after this time. DS2 still awake, he is getting really grumpy through lack of sleep, but cant seem to drop off. He has been ice skating today and been outside for most of the day in the fresh air too. still no appt through to see specialist though.
os today cleaned all floors downstairs, cleaned stairs too, used tip from here to use a rubber gloove, works a treat to remove dog hairs then a quick vac. kitchen cleaned too.
had a row with dh, he had his 3rd christmas drinks this afternoon, he cant see why i am upset yet though, get fed up being on my own all the time in the evenings. He just thinks im nagging, not sure how I can get my message across without getting angry. he wasnt home late, but then he just falls asleep and is no company at all.
anyway enough of my moaning.
Beth - nice to see you posting, sending postive vibes for your op.

Topsy, not sure if I can do advice at this late hour, but I just wanted you to know someone is listening. Big hug love xxxIt's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

thanks Jackie for listening.
think part of my problem is a bit of the greeneyed monster as we never hardly go out together and if we do its to the village pub. when he is out with work he is in london, doing different things to what we do. Think my new years resolution is to change things and try and get a reliable sitter and go out at least once a month together and do something different. I will put my thoughts down on paper and try and get him to understand without arguing.0 -
I hear you! I am the same if oh goes out, not trust jealousy, but 'when do I get to do that?' Making plans sounda good, it can only strengthen your relationship, too. Dont forget you should do stuff for yourself, too. Movies with a friend, lunch and so on, things which are easy to organise if your oh is the childcare. I am realising as I get older, that me being the bottom of the list is not doing me or my family any good. xxxIt's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

I know that there are a few of us awake this time of the morning but Im still reading and thinking about you all. I just dont have much OS to post at the moment xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0
