Morning, I'm in thank you FCC

I have no heating at the moment, so am rushing around like a blue bottomed fly trying to get the airing cupboard and boiler cupboard tidy for a plumber if he ever appears. Just warming up with a coffee after taking the bins out. Hopefully it will be sorted sooner rather than later and I can get on with flying as it really needs it.

Thanks for all your good wishes with our plumbing!
The engineers are on site at the moment: they've sorted some of the problems at the bottom of the block so need to work their way up with assorted chemicals and de greasers. They should be with us by Wednesday if we need to be unblocked again:D

Him Indoors has an appointment booked at the docs later today anyway so he will ask them to take a look at his injury and get advice. Which hopefully, he will take!

  • Count me in this week! Last week's thread really helped me to get the house into a liveable state so I need to keep it up! Might be slightly tricky tonight as we have our antenatal class from 7-10pm but I will see how much I can do between getting home at 5.30 and going out!

    Morning all

Stripped and washed DD1's bedding last night and that was dry by this morning so I did another load which is spread round now.

I've iced my Christmas cake (only ready-roll stuff, I'm not artistic at all), that's back in the top cupboard for the icing to harden off so I can stick the (ready made) decoration on the top later in the week.

Then I wiped all the sides down in the kitchen again (did them before I rolled out the icing!) and cleaned the oven and hob before vacuuming kitchen, living room, hallway and up the stairs.

    Then I watched Misfits.

Now I've finished working I'm getting a bit chilly.

    Morning ladies,

Welcome to all the new flyers. It's great that everyone is so motivated to get everything done before the big day.

Please add me to both challenges Jue

Shortbird - how dreadful. I really hope you get it sorted quickly and that your OH isn't hurt.

We had a wonderful weekend away in Blackpool. I saw my lovely auntie and she met my littlies (it's been 10 years since I've seen her!) The panto was brilliant and our friend got the littlies on stage with the kids from Corrie. Lizzie repeated her Princess of Lesbia request for Santa which resulted in hysterical laughter from the audience.

DH did all the driving and I feel very sorry for him as he's driving up to Yorkshire today for work. His last day is Wednesday, mine is Thursday when I have my work Christmas lunch.

My work phone is getting busier so i'll sign off now.

Stay motivated ladies we can get it all done and we will!
