Mrs C - hex and I both made the Mary Berry ones last year. I've made them again this year as well as the Nigella ones, and they're very thin and crisp so spread them out well to cook. You also can't spread chocolate thickly on the backs of them, so I just drizzled it over and it was enough :) enjoy!

Putting up the decorations takes so much longer than you think doesn't it.

Oh hai, I'm still around: roughly 20 hours at work, one meeting and maybe an Ike@ trip on Tuesday evening to go.

It's been a bit one step forward and 2 back round here: we enlisted help to get the kitchen decoration finished which is going very nicely, thanks.

But, last Tuesday evening, it all went a bit pearshaped as our kitchen sink started to fill with black water:eek: Basically, the kitchen waste pipe and sewer from our part of the 15 story highrise was blocked in at least 2 or 3 places and we've been unable to use any of the kitchen plumbing since Tuesday night or we'd flood other flats below. So, the week before Christmas, we're stuck with making sure that one of us is in for the rest of the week so the engineers can get to us.:( (They've already rodded the drains once which is why the kitchen sink is empty)
As well as taking our laundry elsewhere and emptying the washing up bowl down the loo.:(
And washing veg in the bathroom basin:(

And then, due to the chill in the air, Him Indoors made 2 hotwater bottles and one bottle burst all over him:eek: Hopefully nowt too serious. Fingers crossed, eh?
