Sexy!!! How very lovely to see you, have a lovely Christmas xx

JJEF Eeee thanks, it was an executive decision based on how tired i was after work yesterday combined with the fact that if I'd gone then they wouldn't have stocked the shelves up so I wouldn't have got what I wanted anyway :D

Hex Is that what Nigella does? she soaks hers in a bucket of water with 'stuff' overnight... didn't know it was called brineing (sp?)

Well, I'm dare I say it I'm a bit bored. I'm still feeding the TD and WM but everything else is done and under control, kids are still in bed and I've got itchy 'sales' feet but don't want to go back into town. Think I'll mop the floors. Will maketh another broo, tooooo.

    Hello. I'm here again!

Life has been ever so slightly upside down for a few weeks. A relation I am very close to and have spent every Christmas of my life with was taken into hospital and I received the "if you want to see her, come now" call, that no-one ever wants.

Many tears, heartache, sleepless nights, and all the other things that go with this, I received the call on Thursday "she's home"!

DH and I had already decided that, even if she was in hospital, we were going to travel and spend the day with her. Now I have the better task of running around like a mad thing making sure I have everything ready to make her Christmas dinner and tea when I arrive (I have had to buy, prepare and cook everything for many years).

So, just have a cake and some mince pies left to do now - and wondering whether to make some chocolate !clairs.

Ah. Flying. Well, I haven't had all the time I would like for this, but when I look back on where I was this time last year, although a long way from perfect, I think there's enough of an improvement for me to try again next year. Oh, and count me in for the Ironing Challenge please - on condition that Mr B doesn't suddenly find a whole lot of washing for me between now and then though - I know he's hoarding some!

And somewhere in between, I've had to move offices to a brand new building at work - no coffee machine, no fridge, no photocopier/printer, lights that go off if you sit still and work, no loo roll ............ just part of my fun filled days!

Absolutely no time for a catch up so hoping everyone is doing well.

Kitchen very nearly done here, can't do anymore in there because the goose has kicked me out. Kitchen is full of smoke and burning my eyes out. Gonna go and give the hall a good hoover and make a start on the bathroom. :D Need to find the kids something to do to burn off their energy. ;)

Rhys hasn't been sick again so maybe it was a one off.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

It's all very calm here, as 3 members of the household are now out.

Doing rather well. Quick hoover next and then the table decoration.

Lovely to see 'old flyladies' popping in with season's greetings, wishing you all a wonderful time
