No, I didn't buy a house in 2007 I bought two flats in 2007 (but sold a house in 2007 so that should even things up a bit). I also bought a house in 1981, 1985, 1991, (several in) 1999, (more in) 2002 and a few more since then. In the meantime I have sold quite a few of them.

I would like to change the comment about dropping a massive 8ollock by buying a house in 2007 then.

If somebody bought 2 flats in 2007 then this strikes me as dropping a massive pair of 8ollocks.

Fair enough (but what about my selling of a house in 2007 - that's got to count for something). :o

What about your trying and failing to STR in 2010? :)

I am genuinely pleased for you if it's true, which if it is, means you've been telling stories for the last 2 years.
If it's not, your telling stories now.

Either way, your a self professed conman ;) and story teller

P.S. Your avatar has no relevance to this website, best you tootle off and "gloat" there

Come now Light. Given that my "tracker" effectively answers your little conundrum, it is of course highly relevant.

You really haven't thought this through have you.

I presume it counted towards the cost of the 2 flats.

You obviously thought the boom would never stop booming.

    I didnt.

    Nice graph.
ooooooo it's quite a battle and for the first time ISTL seems to have the upper hand. How's it feel ISTL?

Tut geneer, one would expect with your prescience, your intellect and your ability to read the market you'd have bought in April 09.
Unless you've been telling porkies about your prescience, your intellect and your ability to read the market?
Still I'm sure there is a perfectly good reason you waited for prices to go up £20k first? Isn't there?

:rotfl:Its a nice graph of something thats been proven absolutely meaningless on a number of occasions now.

Light himself keeps admitting as much.

So I rather think that I had the upper hand at the point he decided to knock that little gem out.

Interesting you think I have the upperhand for the first time.
Can I presume you were in agreement with geneer our other discussions on the facts?

Wouldn't mind for my self reflection if you pointed out these instances where geneers debate outweighed my points.

i tend to think I bring facts to the table far often

I tend to think you bring charts to the table far often.
Then refuse to discuss them in any kind of credible context.

Occasionally else where you are forced to agree that they don't really mean much far often.

Before again posting the same charts far often.

Maybe you should think things through far often in future.

Hey, I hope you don't mind us "gently mocking" you over here too.

:rotfl:Can't help but noticing Its gone from RIPPING THE P!** to a gentle mocking.

    Nice own goal Pimp.

Abcott:"Considering all the hype around property sales, they don't half make it difficult don't they? Arrangement fees, rubbish surveys etc - it's rare to hear a move story that doesn't contain some mess up. At least you're settled in for a good few years now."

Yep. He's really tearing me apart.

Put that down to recognising you have an asset which will appreciate in value and you shouldn't sell it short (especially when it brings in around £1500 pcm rent and the mortgage is £150 pcm).

He only changed it from confirming he was RTP to gently mocking because you pleaded with him. I quote:
    "Really. RIPPING THE P1SS?
    Have I missed a thread?

dont be gwumpy. im still a bear at heart".

    Gee shucks. :rotfl:
