    30lb lost of 30lb by June 2012 :j:j:j (80lb overall goal)

Thats still an amazing achievement & 10 times more than what I have lost - you should be very proud of yourself!

I've found it impossible to shift any weight for weeks and weeks.
Then I started low-carbing and have dropped another 2 lbs, which means I've got 12lbs to go to reach my target.
Am loving low-carbing-once you get your head round the science, its great!

Hi guys....will you accept me back into this thread please?
I'm embarassed that i am even heavier now than when i started posting at the start of this thread :(

I am currently 11st 8lbs. I am aiming to lose 2lbs a week, with a grand total loss of (hopefully) 2st.

I am waiting for my passports to arrive, and then will be booking a holiday for late June, so want to have lost a little by then.

    My plan is simple:
    Cut out alcohol
    Eat less Chocolate
    Exercise a bit more.

    Welcome back!

Since 1 January I've lost just 5 lb. Even when I've been "good", I've lost nothing and then not gained when I've been "bad".

If you haven't really been dieting for a while you are likely to lose more pounds in the next few weeks if you stick to your plan.

Thanks Dolly... my problem at the minute is my thyroid I think. I feel underactive but my docs say I am within normal range, although my ferritin levels are low (have been for a few years) but not low enough to treat, which would suggest an iron deficiency, but they're not treating it because its apparently not low enough. I have been suffering with a really sore mouth over the past few months and mouth ulcers, again the docs said its not related to thyroid. I have done a little research and I think it is related, but instead of arguing with the professionals I have put meself on multivitamins and iron in the hope that I can at least start to feel better.

  • Right I'm back!

Been a pretty rubbish few months for me after having a nasty fall in January. I was off work & not driving for three months and I'm still having physio on my ankle. BUT there is only so long I can use that as an excuse!

Ironically I lost a lot of weight the first few weeks I was off (mixture of pain killers & not being able to get to the kitchen) but since I've been better I can't stop stuffing myself full of food and now I'm up to 12st 2 - my heaviest ever!

I've had to pull out of this weekend's moonwalk but I have 13 weeks until my holiday. Time for some damage limitation ..... I may need some help!!

    tide has turned again...

    this week i lost 5lbs....:j:beer::j:beer:

and i set my target at group as 12.4,

im now 12.2, so 2lbs below target, and 1lb off my 6 stone award:D:j

i will try and get it, if i fall more that the 3lbs below target, i have to try and get back into target range, (12.1 / 12.7) or set a new target 7lbs below my original, so thats 11.11.
