Can i join i have called myself repeat offender because thats what i am. I know how to eat healthy / i know how to exercise / i have lost weight twice in the past / i know my health is at risk yet i keep on eating and i keep sitting on the sofa. I always reoffend when it comes to being on the straight and narrow of my healthy lifestyle. My GP has offered me a referral to the gym / a slimming club / medication and a bariatric clinic. I feel ashamed to use NHS money because im just too undisciplined to stop eating.
I browse this site for money tips so thought i would look for diet tips and found this thread. I didnt join before but need a kick up the bum. I havent read it all yet but it took ages to set my user profile up so i will go back now and look. Then i will add my details etc.So you're Red John? I have to say I'm a little disappointed.0 -

I would just take all the help your GP is offering you I mean its got to be a good thing.
I wouldnt be ashamed about it at the end of the day everyone has needed something fron the NHS through their own fault be that overeating, smoking or just fallin over drunk(yes I have done this a number of time only leading to a trip to A&E once)
We're all doin things differently on here I'm doin WW which works for me

Hello everyone
Well I am another one who is trying yet another diet! I am on slimming world and have actually done well (lost 6 stone 10 lbs so far) but it seems to have really slowed down/stopped! I still have a lot to lose and I am really, really beginning to struggle. I know I have to keep going though - it will take as long as it takes.

Hi 3 things 1. ive made my font smaller as i felt like i was taking up the whole page. 2. there are too many posts to read so im just starting from here. 3. i got weighed this morning and im 18stone not 17.11 eek! That must be the pizza and wine on friday / chinese on saturday / full english breakfast my husband cooked yesterday and all the mothers day chocolate that i had to finish yesterday as im dieting from today oops!
Today i am going to make a diet plan and have to decide which slimming club to go to. I have a choice of WW or SW i have done both before and lost weight on both as all diets work if you stick to them i suppose. The WW i ended up eating lots of convenience food as i found it easier than weighing and calculating the points. SW i ate healthy but the inane clapping in class drove me bonkers.
Louise22 i havnt sussed how to quote yet but well done, dont give up because i lost over 5 stone on SW and stopped going and have put most of it back on so even if you stay the same the whole of this month it doesnt matter.So you're Red John? I have to say I'm a little disappointed.0 -

Hi all, just reporting for duty:rotfl:. I havent had any weight loss for 2 weeks now, but I kind of expected that. Having being having a really crappy time with my stepdaughter and I've been picking up chocolate/wine to make me feel better:mad:
On the plus side, I have gone down a bra size and trousers are so much looserLoved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -

well chuffed as it was bank holiday weekend in Ireland...:beer:
and i did what we do best :beer:
eat, drink and was merry...
but then....i got up the next day, and walked, and got back in the saddle!0 -
hey everyone, am back to normal, thank goodness:j! worst flu ever tho on the plus side, have hardly eaten in over a week :rotfl:and am feelin less bloated so back on the wagon from today! goin for a walk tonight and am goin to weigh myself later for pure nosiness so fingers crossed x havin pork chops cooked in frylite, potatoes (no butter an jus a little 1% milk) and beans for diner tonight, cant wait to actually taste something lol! well done to all whos lost xxxcredit report!!! worse than school reports and they were bad....
goal for 2012:
pay off old outstanding debt and get a good credit rating so we can buy our first home!:D

I'm just making dinner aswell - baked potato, tuna, onion, broccoli with some light salad cream - mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Oh I calculated that I have 40 WI's until Christmas!!!!!! 34.5lbs still to lose but I hope to god I can make it to goal by then
