avoid it marrbett! it does nothing for your confidence going up and down, up and down...i am switching to fortnightly. i am hoping this means that i will definitely see a difference every time i step onto the scales.
    Save 12k in 2014 (my target: £10 000):
    My savings: £4878.54/£7000
    Joint account savings: £2685.57/£3000
    Total:£7564.11/£10 000 (as at 26/10/14)
  • I used to weigh myself every day till OH smashed the scales & chucked them out I dont think its very good for you to do that.

I get weighed on a saturday morning now & thats it.

Lol, I know its wrong, and I used to tell my friend off for doing it, but I think I'm abit of a control freak and I need to just peep.
I promise not to weigh myself before tuesday, which will be 3 weeks since I first shocked myself.
Off to a wedding tomorrow, so am going to enjoy the evening meal and the breakfast in the hotel on Saturday. Then, I'll be strict again.:)

I don't weigh myself at home. I have no scales.

I go to Rowlands pharmacy and they weigh me there in one of the consultation rooms. Tell them you are doing Celebrity Slim and they are happy to do weekly weights. The CS meal replacement bars are really nice and I find them handy in my bag if I'm out as the lure of takeaways is my downfall.
  • Caroline good idea & cheaper than WW!

  • Hi,

I have just stumbled upon your thread and am looking for some inspiration and guidance!

Getting married in June and have already purchased my dress - sadly have put on weight and it no longer fits.

Goal is to lose around 11lbs by Wedding and a further 17lbs afterwards as a total of 28lbs (2St) as I am 5ft 8''.

My current weight is exactly 13st and I am currently (Since Wednesday) following the SW Extra Easy plan at home.

Any tips would be appreciated!! :rotfl:

    Hey welcome to the thread!

I tried SW but I just couldnt get used to it so went back to WW which I really enjoy & I know it works cos I have lost weight before!

I liked the fact that you have lots of free food on SW but I tended to still eat too much on it - really enjoyed it tho!

Well I got weighed this morning lost 1.5lbs so thats me back on the wagon for good now I hope!!!

Usually I totally pig out after I get weighed but I came home & had 2 slices of toast & a banana! Go meeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Did buy toffee crisps & some haribo but I am gonna point them & use them out of my weekly allowance so should be all good.

  • Thanks,

I tried WW when the new plan came out but I just couldnt get the hang of it - joined SW late last year but had to leave due to finances and now desperately need to shake the weight so I'm back on it!

Weighed myself today as Saturday is my designated weigh day and i've lost 3lbs so its just to keep going now!!

  • Well done you!!!
