    Morning all :hello:
Woke up this morning feling like a pile of doo doo, sore throat, all buged up, headache, :( so i doubt there will be much flyin from me today, although i have put the blues on for wash, and will be cooking us roast chicken dinner.

Well for the first time since well i dunno when i washed up after dinner last night, took all of 5 mins and i felt so much better for doing it and it was so nice to come down this morning to an empty clean sink and no crap on the side :j: I've still got a long way to go but i think i'm doing well and each morning i've been 'flying' i get excited about doing the list and getting things clean!

Havent really got any dailies today apart from the washing which i'm just about to hang on the radiators, will probaby do another load too seing as it's easy as all i have to do is sort the clothes out and put the tablets in the little bag, DS does the rest!

Have a good day girlies

    Daily and nightime routines

One extra little job - [STRIKE]sort out all the containers in the kitchen and dump the ones without lids or have lids but no bases![/STRIKE] I do that as I go along.

    My list

[STRIKE]2 older girls being taken to SIL to try on their bridesmaid dresses[/STRIKE]... this should be less traumatic than taking the 3 little ones!
    [STRIKE]Clean kitchen floor[/STRIKE]

Other than that.. I don't know!

    DH list..

Knock plaster off the bathroom wall,
[STRIKE]Knock plaster off the wall in the boys room
Remove[/STRIKE] and replace the boys bedroom door frame He is now replacing the whole wall!!

Yes he LIKES making mess, which I then have the task of clearing up!

Hhmmmm.. not much left to be done today.. I simply cannot do anything upstairs!!

Windows still to be washed and bedding still to be changed... doing that in a second.

    Good afternoon flyers

Well I am sat here at work with less than 2 hours to go. This morning I did not get my lie in as DH has man-flu. This means I had to come down and sort kitchen out as he told me to leave it 'cos I'll do it in the morning:mad: .

    So today before work I:-

    Put load of washing on
    Put washing on airer
Swished and swiped kitchen (left sink tidy)
    Dusted lounge
    Hoovered downstairs
    Swished and swiped bathroom
    Aired bedrooms & bed
    Made beds
Took food out of freezer for tea (HM beef curry for me - yummy!!)
Packed DD's bag for day and Nannies
Packed their night-things (as get ready for bed and nannies and then fall asleep in car on way back:D )
DH took down little tikes house (despite man-flu:rolleyes: )
I washed & scrubbed said little tikes house - lets hope they come to collect it today!
Had shower, straighened hair, slapped on some make-up and walked to work!

Not bad going really as I set off for work at 9.30am

    To do later

Call at shop to buy chocolate for DH to ease his man-flu (had text asking for this  )
Ironing - if dry (lets hope not:p )
    Cook/reheat tea
May have half hour in shed tidying it up a bit
Clean seals round double glazed windows (bit mouldy)
Scrub grout in bathroom (few grubby areas - old toothbrush at ready)
May tackle wardrobe in playroom (box full of baby clothes for big dolly needs culling - easiest when littles not around!)

Half term for us next week so no back and forth to nursery so will gain 2 hours of my day back!!:j

Well off to find out the best way to clean an enamel bath so it shines like new - can you tell the surveyor/valuer is due round anytime soon;)

    See you later.

Pigpen you have go quiet for a while your not lost under rubble are you?

I've done two loads of washing. Hung it all upstairs but the sun is out now so I've risked putting some of it on the outside line. Cue rain.

Cooked and eaten and cleared away roast dinner and rhubarb crumble.

    Tired now.

Oh, and I polished and vacuumed the living room and vacuumed the hallway and kitchen this morning.

The cats are being little hellers today. Must be because it's windy. They're going to go in the naughty corner soon if they don't behave ;)
  • I love the weekends on this thread as I can catch up with it dead quick. Ususally takes me about an hour on weekdays. Not much done here today as was busy relaxing. Went to swim lessons with DS, went to church, went out for lunch(and cant move now) 1 load in washing machine. Not feeling that guilty though as house is relatively tidy still with all my mini flying. Going to do a boogie and a 15 minutes in DS's room later.xx

  • Afternoon everyone.

I've been away again a few days as i have been feeling shocking. It must be a touch of flu. I've been absolutely shattered, feeling queasy and so light headed. I nearly fell with the baby in my arms today, only stopping myself with the wall, so i've had a couple of hours in bed this afternoon while DH was able to watch DS. I do feel a bit better now but i'm not going to overdo it.

I've set myself a bit of a challenge next week. No playgroup as it is half term, so i asked 3 of the mums to mine. so i will have to be tidy.

    Done this weekend:
    • kitchen carpet vaxed
    • laminate floor in living room swept and mopped
    • DH took paint blobs off the laminate from when we decorated
    • hoovered living room rug
    • picked up high chair and car seat from aunties house
    • done 4 loads of washing
    • rescued some towels from last week from TD
    • large portion of stew made in SC
    • done a basics shop
    • visited DH's cousin and family
    • tried to track down missing toy of DS's - when we couldn't find it, tracked it down on internet to order a replacement
I didn't write a list, but i'm quite pleased with that, as the baby has also been full of cold.

I'd best start planning what i will need to do this week, as i want to try and buy some birthday pressies (dads 50th, mums, and sisters partners 21st) and organise a cheap yet special treat for valentines day, plus look like a domestic goddess when the girls come round :rotfl:

    Michelle, x
  • Michelle am thinking you already sound like a domestic goddess! :T

Hi all - did read a bit of threads on friday night about the work thing and have to agree with pigpen i could not work full time and do anything else so hats of to you that do - i worked friday and they offered me another days supply but my two days A MONTH is fine thank you no more for feb please!! i was wasted friday night after only one day at work - mind you wet all day so little darlings couldn't go out to play

I was feeling a bit smug as i had a roast in cooking when my mum and dad came to visit - i was cooking double veg to make a chicken pie tomorrow so was able to invite them to eat with us - i would never have been able to do that before :T
