I feel like I've done nothing today.. nowhere looks any better!!!
Smallfry just narrowly missed an A&E visit.. she stuffed frozen peas up her nose.. not just one.. but 3!!!! Thankfully she is the snot queen at the moment so a bit of gentle persuasion once they defrosted worked wonders (I held her down and rubbed them out of her nose while she wriggled and screamed) Worked though.. she is now pea-free.. WHY do they feel the need to do this??? MAD children!
My kitchen was clean until I did dinner, the loo floor I'm going to slop over in a minute once they are all safely ensconced in their beds! Hubby isn't home yet either...
Oh for goodness sake.. dopey child just walked into the door!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Well she is drugged (medised and tixylix.. saved the ibuprofen in case she wakes later on) and put to bed in most of her clothes because she didn't want to get undressed and I wasn't going to force her, some things are simply not worth the distress. She hasn't had her face properly cleaned.. wiped but not very well. Her little face is all puffy, her nose is red and sore her ears are all gacky (another ear infection I think) one is sporting a pretty purple bruise thanks to the door and she is really not a happy chicky. If her ears are still grotty tomorrow I'll whizz her to the GP, and if they won't fit her in.. they can flipping well come out to her!
My cat just walked footprints all over my kitchen!!!
There are child skins everywhere.. they resemble uniform when placed about the naked sprog. I need to scoop those us and get those WM's off again.. and the TD's and the DW can go on for the 4th time today!! Best make DS2 do his injection and make sure the boys are in bed.. time for a peaceful cuppa then before DS1 brings his mouth home at 8:30!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

You 'could' do your list a week behind everyone else and copy the list from last week to do this week.. if a weekly plan works better for you?? It shouldn't be too far down the pages.
they stay roughly the same each week, or they seem to.
Your hubby won't be impressed, he will think you have lost your mind.. most of the menfolk seem to go there first.. after they ask who is coming!!
Good luck.. and welcome!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
:rotfl: my friends daughter who is 6 and very intelligent some how ended up with a sticker up her nose yesterday, she was telling me tonight how she didn't believe her, but when she took her to see the nurse there was a pink sticker firmly up there. My kids didn't do that, in fact I used to brag about it as my sister put anything anywhere she could, inc salted peanuts up her nose and regularly Mam would find her with something in her nappy, until little one was 5 and stuck a cigarette end in his ear.. no idea why!
With regards to the clothes etc, I use an approach taught to me by a headmaster of a special needs school in Scotland, called the DIRM approach. Everything that happens take a step back and think Does It Really Matter! That guy was inspirational to say the least!
From another one of the 'prssumed insane' brigade (seeing as nobody came I must be)
Oh and I will go and tidy the kitchen after my dinner settles, I must learn to be a tidier cook, always looks like a bombs hit it after dinner. One day I might be more organised...........

My 16 yrs old son told me when I hauled the hoover up the stairs twice in two days: "Mum, are you doing alright?"
