Thank you for your PM, fortuna, I hope you don't mind me replying in public as it were as you will probably not be the only person wondering what I am playing at.:o

First of all I have to utter the dreaded word 'clique' - I love challenges and was waiting hopefully for a regular to post so I could just join in. However as time was ticking by, I 'cracked' and decided to post myself - bearing in mind I was willing to undertake all the work myself. I did indeed come to think the poll was done too soon but could not find a way to alter it.

fortuna, I am sure you are, as georgebee put it, a star - but as neither you nor he thought it worth thanking me for the original post I guess I cannot exist in your rarefied atmosphere (sorry, I get carried away sometimes:eek:) it did indeed look to me as if my input was not required, needed or, indeed, noticed:(

As it is honesty time I have to say I did not care for the Twenty in Twelve idea - this is fine for you lucky compers who win so much you would soon outstrip the £2012 - unhappily I have been lucky to win 12 prizes let alone 20.

I don't thank every post I see and didn't see there was a need for it? If that's what offended you then sorry but I owe you no apology.

I think you taking a comment too far and taking it all a little personally. Like I said I was trying to help obviously my help isn't needed, I just thought what with running eleventh heaven you'd like my help?

Never mind I'll just go back to comping quietly as clearly thats the best way forward so i don't accidently step on anyone's toes :j

EDIT - Oh and just to ensure you're being paranoid I'm part of no clique and have a mere 139 posts which if you care to look is general comp stuff. As I said I just comp along quietly because comping has become a very unfriendly hobby lately.

Chrissie, 2 years back a challenge was set up without anyone elses input, I had a suggestion many liked and we done it unofficially on iwon, where as the other exsisted on main,

Honestly don't let it worry you, i'm sure no-one was out to offend you, people just get carried away and enjoy helping, it is good your post got so many talking and excited about the new comping year ahead!

I remember the win £2009 in 2009 thats why i suggested that for next year. Why not do what we did before and pick a number on a list??

Hmm - posted very quickly in a spare 10 minutes before rushing out, thought that might be a bad idea:o

First of all, I will apologise because I had overlooked the fact that you ran the 2011 challenge:eek: - obviously I knew at one point but to be truthful I have done so badly with comps this year that I had a break in the autumn and when I returned I simply found looking at IWIWIW very disheartening, although it was one of my favourites. However I certainly would not expect you to take on two years in a row.

As far as Thanks go - well, when I joined and ventured to post I was riveted, happy when I was and crushed when I wasn't:rotfl:But that was quite a long time ago:D

I certainly do not Thank every post I see - but I do Thank every post I find interesting and/or helpful, particularly if I join in the discussion. So I suppose your answer just makes me feel worse, really...

Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean doesn't mean they're not out to get me:rotfl:

...that as I have been very far from lucky with comps in 2011:( and upset people when I started the Challenge thread:o I am just going to pootle along doing my own challenge.

I intend to combine djl's idea of £2012 in 2012 with cherabelle's of an Olympic theme and see how I get on (many thanks to both posters)
As I kicked off (in all senses of the word:eek:) the original thread, I did intend to start it up again but was too embarassed.

If anyone would like to join me in my mini challenge I would be more than happy to keep it organised otherwise whatever everyone else decides I shall watch progress with interest:)
