While I feel that I'm more likely to manage the £12 than the £2000, I would still be up for having a go. Good idea. Thanks to all the fabulous people who post on this forum.0

I haven't really played these games in the past but I saw this thread and thought of an idea so thought I'd share.
As it's 2012 you could play the "12 months of the year" challenge. Think of something you REALLY want to win in each month of next year. Preferably it should be apt to that particular month, but it's personal to you, so it's whatever YOU want or need in that specific month.
 An example could be:
Jan - gym membership to start the NY resolution
Feb - box of chocolates and some flowers
March - Theatre break for Mother's day
April - a book to read over easter
 May - sunglasses
June - a new TV to watch Euro 2012 on
July - Summer holiday for the family
 Aug - Olympics tickets
 Sep - some new shoes
 Oct - an Umbrella
Noc - that DVD that's just been released of that film you saw in the cinema over Summer
 Dec - Christmas tree
Whatever's going on in your life over the 12 months, tailor what you want to what you hope to be doing! It'll probably be quite difficult if it's like the example I gave above but it might be fun to try.
Sorry if this idea has been done before.0

I like that idea twotimes, It would mean something you could use in that month. Especially in summer and christmas time when you could use certain things December Wins: £300 worth of board games, £500 Tesco Vouchers Best Win in 2023: £500 Tesco Vouchers0 December Wins: £300 worth of board games, £500 Tesco Vouchers Best Win in 2023: £500 Tesco Vouchers0

My favorite was when we used to just do "this will be mine" and picked top 3. I had NO luck with this years top 11 or whatever we were supposed to be doing haha. Ask.. Believe.. Receive.. Ask.. Believe.. Receive..
Every Accomplishment Starts With The Decision To Try0

From what I remember the 'this will be mine' started because it rhymed with 2009 so not really relevant for further years
I think twotimes idea is great! and will be really fun to think of something relevant for each month0

I like the idea of 12 months of comping (a la 12 days of Christmas), such as:
On the first month of comping, T3 gave to me a shiny HDTV
On the second month of comping, GMTV gave to me a 14 night family holiday
On the third month of comping, Fiat gave to me a car and insurance for free
.............and so it goes on eventually ending with the ITV win (obviously!)
Or we could have something a wee bit more realistic such as
1st day - a mug for my coffee
2nd day - sweets to have with my tea
3rd day - a holder for my keys
4th day - a voucher still not arrived
5th day - a Facebook win whose message I didn't see (so I lost it!)
Whatever we do I'm in. I like a challenge.
 Carry on Christmas comping xxx0
