Poll done - first time I have done one, hope it's OK:)

    chrissie

Thanks for the poll, works fine :D

The money amount ie. £2012 in 2012 has been done a few times, in fact I think it was my suggestion once before :o £2009 in 2009 if I remember correctly

I really like the 12 in 2012 idea - would be more of a challenge imo

But let the best suggestion win! :D
    £608.98
    £80
    £1288.99
    £85.90
    £154.98

im in - i prefer the monthly one i think!
  • I think I would prefer the monthly one. This year I have had a couple of wins that I couldn't put a monetry value on so not sure how I would work that one out if I am lucky enough to win the same sort of prize next year.
  • I like both ideas but prefer the £2012 in 2012 but will give either a go.
    2017 wins -
Biggest wins to date - Holiday to Hawaii (won in 2016 but taking in 2017), trip to New York (2016)

Both ideas are fab - I would have smashed the £2011 in 2011 if it is around, hoping to be as lucky for my second year of comping.

But I like the prize a month too, it's just trying to find *just* 12 items :rotfl:
    Thanks to all posters :A

I am back on the comp wagon and hoping to win shedloads lol ... doubt i would manage a prize each month and it probably wouldnt be what i wanted..... I like both ideas but think i could manage the £2012 better than the 12 months.

  • What about with 2012 been the year of the Olympics we go with maybe a Gold, Silver and Bronze style thing. You could say

    Gold- A Holiday,
    silver- Cheque for money
    Bronze- Laptop?

Or maybe another variation could be based on the value, Under £100= Bronze (10 Points), £101-£500 Silver (50 points), Over £501 Gold (100 points) at the end of the year we can top up all the points???

Im happy to go with general consensus, 2011 was a not the year for 11th heaven.

Good Luck, Merry Christmas to everyone. xx

cherabelle - Really like your idea, I'd be up for that :D
Huge thank you to all posters on the comps board! :D
  • Pimp Yourselves in 2012 - pick something you want to pimp eg. bedroom, living room, car etc and try to achieve it through prizes :D (just went with that cos it rhymes really he he :))
Part time GCer, NSDer, Comper and (Bad)Flylady :o
A big shot is just a little shot that kept shooting ...
  • It sounds more like Twenty Twelve. The twenty prizes you want to most win in twelve months? If you go with this I'd like to be number 1

    1 £1000 cash
    2 Luxury Holiday
    3 Large TV
    4 Expensive Jewellery
    5 Digital Camera
    6 iPad
    7 Mobile Phone
    8 Blue Ray Player
    9 Spa Break
    10 Sky Diving
    11 Designer Suit
    12 Hamper
    13 Rock Concert Tickets
    14 New Sofa
    15 Bathroom Revamp
    16 Wine
    17 laptop
    18 New Bed
    19 DVD
    20 Chocolate
Note that I added a couple of easy ones at the end so I'm not left completely deflated come 31st December 2012
