I'm going for my idea £2012 in 2012 thinking it will be hard to complete but I will try.

Just a prize a month would do for me, My win rate is so low now I would be delighted with that. Good luck in 2012 especially all the hard working competition posters I will do my best to help out with finding comps whenever I can. x

So after getting offended because I offered help you're now not doing the challenge properly and creating a challenge thread as has been run for many years?

Almost wasn't worth causing a fuss over really.

It sounds like a difficult challenge, but one I am willing to give a go! I vote for the £2012...

I think this years wins pobably came to between £500 and £750 so I have got a way to go! :-)

OK:

• Yes I was needlessly offended and did not behave in a particularly appropriate manner
• No you did not 'offer to help me' - you made a couple of excellent suggestions which you then ran with and yes, it did appear to my over-sensitive liitle soul that you had simply taken over the thread
• As I have already stated (and apologised for) I overlooked the fact that you ran the 2011 challenge; however this obviously makes you feel some sort of 'ownership'
• I am and always was perfectly prepared to run a proper challenge - but several people on here seem happy, like me now, to tootle along doing our own thing. As Toniq suggested, it is also not the first time there has been a difference of opinion over how it is run.
• I shall now start yet another post:cool:on the Competitions Discussion thread (where one of the BGs told me I should have been posting all along:o)to try and resolve this. See you there:D

If my memory serves me right (and often it doesnt), after the £2009 in 2009 challenge it was suggested not to do it again as people were just entering comps they werent interested in to make up the amount. Each to their own, but it would be more of a challenge if its to win £2012 of prizes you actually want to win?

But I should add I think its a good idea to do it again, I set myself this challenge each year anyway (and struggle to get there!).
