Hi guys
Quick question for you. I won a competition for a prize that is worth £79.99. The company has now contacted me and said my prize is out of stock and have offered me a £50 voucher instead. Just wondering whether I should just accept the £50 voucher or try and ask for a voucher the same value as the original prize?0 -

When you say it's worth £79.99 are you quoting the rrp sometimes a prize is worth less than the rrp because it's old stock and the value has depreciated, you will find that a lot of competition prizes are items that are worth less than the quoted rrp price
it's up to you really, I personally would accept the £50 voucher
if you don't really want to accept the voucher ask if you can wait until the item is back in stock
Best of Luck0 -

Hi all
Posted this comp up yesterday
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3888495=
Have now established with XScape that you enter once but they will draw a winner each week starting this Monday from all the entries. You can only win once. As it's onceonly entry should I put it in the weeklies? If I don't I'd guess people who comp by end date may miss out. But in which case do I put in the weekly thread, or in the onceonly entry thread?
Any help appreciated, would rather get it right first time:hello:Hello and thanks to all you gorgeous MSErs posting comps, answers and advice xx0 -

1) If you know when the series of weekly draws will finish (eg. weekly until 30/04) then:-
a) post on the main board with an E: 30/04 ONCEONLY Weekly... heading.
b) put a link to your post at the end of the ONCEONLY thread. Glad will include your comp in post #2 of that thread.
2) If the series of weekly draws will be ongoing (at least for the foreseeable future) then:-
a) post on the REGULARS Board as E: ONCEONLY Weekly draw....
b) put a link to your post at the end of the ONCEONLY thread. Glad will include your comp in post #1 (4th section down) of that thread.
If a post of "type 2a" is posted on the main board so that compers who don't look at the other boards will see it (I think this is a good idea in any case) then you can give it the E: ONCEONLY Weekly.... heading and PM Glad to move it to Regulars with a divert so it becomes a "type 2a" post.0 -
Puzzle Weekly Issue 6 - I sent the OH for Puzzle Weekly on Tues but he couldn't see it in the shops and I had a PM from another member of MSE explaining that their newsagent has said issue 6 or 7 will be the last. We went into town yesterday and managed to find it in the big Asda and I have done the puzzles but they aren't online yet. They don't close until 28/04 so there's still time. I see they now have a different email address on the website so I emailed this morning but have heard nothing back so I don't suppose they will put them online now until after the Easter break. I have also enquired whether they are taking Puzzle Weekly off the market so hopefully should hear something back soon. Still no word on whether we can gain extra entries into the prize draw with the same comps appearing in different titles. Anyhow will keep an eye on the domain and post as soon as I notice its live.
