I don't know the answer to your question, but I didn't want you to think that we were ignoring you. As this site is "Money Saving" expert, most of us enter free competitions anyway, not ones you pay to enter. Not sure who you could ask about the legalities.0 -

Basically, I run a clan gaming website and we rent servers from game server hosting companies. Raising donations to rent the servers cost money so i thought of a way to boost donations.
Could i ask players who were interested in winning a map pack (thats expected to cost £9.99 when it comes out) to donate £1 towards our server fund and in the process go in to the draw to win the map pack?
I didn't want to set it all up to then find out i would not be allowed too.
It might be a good idea to read "Prize competitions and free draws: The requirements of the Gambling Act 2005" note this is a pdf file

Help, I am hoping someone knows how I can sort out this little comping problem I have! here goes...(sorry If I ramble)
I had a parcel turn up, card left (as at work) a company called Yodel? never heard of them! O well here goes...
online you can only rearrange the parcel to be redirected to your address(as signed for) between Monday to Friday and anytime between (9am and 5pm) useful as I am at work
O well never mind I have a day off planned for next wednesday but O dear the dates it offers are only up till tuesday? so I plumped for another Monday delivery in the hope they would then let me book the Wednesday online.:T
Bear with me..
Monday comes and goes, left a note on the step saying I had popped out and to ask neigbour to sign, nothing, so I phone them, 10p a minute, and lots of press this press that! at last a person...O youve lost the parcel? great thanks and to contact the person who sent it? well that would be good if I knew who it was. Dis Promotions never heard of them? so the question is has anyone here? and if so have you got any contact info for them.
As a comper and relitavly new to this (1 year next week) I have checked outstanding prizes, and the only one I thought it could be turned up today!
so Help its over to the knowledge of someone out there?
ThanksBest prize to date...Title of Disney's funniest UK family 2013, £20,000 donation to Red Nose Day and a trip to Disneyland paris!0 -

Hello all
Does anyone know how many different ITV show competitions are currently being run?
I know:
Real Deal
Take Me OUt
This morning
Daybreak
are there any others at the moment? Just a thought would it be of any use to place these in a separate thread for this type of TV competition where a number of online entries can be made?0 -
If you click on "forum search" and type in "itv.com" into the search box, it should bring up loads.0

I try and do this every week, then pop them in a folder I've created in my favourites. I then order them by end date to enter later while watching TV

I know this isnt the place to post this but lots on fb are getting vile messages from someone with the profile name "caroline mse" these messages are sickening and vile, they are attacking someone with a serious illness and i am fed up of it.
It disgusts me that someone assosciated with this forum (or pretending to be) can say such spiteful things and not to jsut one person either. I can name 5/6 at least that are being attacked by this fake profile.
Please martin or any of the board guides please look into who this person is, they are hidden on fb and only pop up to make nasty remarks - GUTLESS!!!Jan 2012 - Hotpoint Aqualatis, Kenneth Cole Watch, Baby-G watch, £200 Lego Bundle, Micro Scooter0 -
Is anyone else getting emails from Winner factory?
I've had 3 in my email spam in the last week, all with different prizes to claim!
I've deleted them as they don't address me by name, but wondering why they've only just started targetting me?!Worse things will have happened in the world today..."The only thing that really matters, it to love and to be loved."0 -
Hi all,
I was hoping someone may be able to advise me..
I'm going to be running the London Marathon on April 22nd and am trying to fundraise as much as possible before the big day. I've been able to get my hands on some gift hampers with beauty products and was thinking of raffling them off.
My thoughts were that I'd give the Justgiving page on here (and a number you can text to which is much easier!), and people could donate a £1 to buy one ticket (or more if they prefer). I realise that this is a free competitions board, but the cost of a text message up to £1.53 is acceptable, so would my idea be too?
Would really appreciate help
thank you!0
