Welcome newbies :) If you pop over to the I Won Board there's a 'sticky' thread at the top of the board where you can introduce yourselves. You'd also do well to read the 'sticky' on this board about how to get started, there are some great tips in there.

Hi, thanks for the replies. I've read through Answerbank but they're just throwing up the same answers, and a lot of wrong ones too! The quiz is in the new issue of the Radio Times. There are 40 film clues hidden in the picture. Most are obvious but a couple more difficult as the films they point to just don't seem famous enough (the recent film Moon for instance), as far as I can work out the films are all oscar winners. But what else could a picture of the moon be?

barnabysue, your link goes to a different competition.

I don't understand what you mean by 'a different competition'? November2 asked about a Radio Times competition where you have to name the films from a picture. I posted a link to just such a competition and pointed out that it was an old one that ended in January.

Hi, sorry, I'm sure this is in the wrong place! I'm doing the Radio Times Big Film Quiz and have searched unsuccessfully on here for a thread, I'm sure there must be one. I have all the films but am a bit dubious over two, the rope and the moon. Which I have as being Hithcock's The Rope and the recent film Moon. But they just don't seem right as all other films are I believe oscar winners. Any one point me in the right direction.

I haven't seen the pic/quiz but Moonstruck was an Oscar winner? xx

I think you often get odd followers on twitter and get spammy messages if you mention things like ipad too. Don't click on odd links that random people send you any more than you would click on random links in emails or pop ups.
