Ah, I use IE so that would be the difference. Don't know if you know, but you only have to enter the Captcha word that has the 'Black symbol' behind it, so that saves time too.

Hi, just wondering if anyone can help! Usually when I do the GMTV/Real Deal comps etc I just have to press the back arrow to re enter the competition rather than having to repeatedly enter my details. Had problems with my computer and had to uninstall then reinstall firefox and now have version 10.0. But now when I press the back button it says firefox won't allow it due to sensitive details so I have to fill it in again! It's a real pain after having been able to do it so easily- does anybody have any suggestions?! thanks

I know! It's so annoying, I don't know why they have changed that. I now have to enter them in safari, the back button works there.

I use Lazarus for firefox, lets you right-click and refill the form (can recover the last 8 or 9 times for that page), very handy for the ITV comps.

My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Question for those who enter postal competitions...

Do you literally write on a stamped bit of card with the address on one side and your answer and details on the other or do you post your answer and details on paper/card within a stamped, addressed envelope?

Hi painkiller, if it states in t&c's to put in an sae then use envelope with details inside on paper/postcard but generally I use a postcard with details on as some promoters don't bother opening loads of envelopes. HTH :)
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

I've found some competitions......but not sure whether to post as individual comps on this board......

They are on Facebook and seem to be run by the publishers Faber and Faber. They have some creative competitions - acting, filmmaking, music and writing. However, they are only open to teens, have varying dates and I'm not sure what the prizes are!

Anyway, I thought I'd post it here in case any of you have teens who might be interested. The main page is this one:

The acting competition has started and it's here: http://www.facebook.com/theglimpse
As far as I can see, they are looking for a teen girl to audition for the role of a girl from one of their books, to star in a series of web blogs. Not sure if there is any kind of prize other than being the star?
