Thanks - I was thinking it was one of the sites that actually entered for you. Either way, I won't waste my money!0

There is a thread in IwonIwonIwon here:-

where we were discussing these sites that you pay to enter competitions for you. I presume that this is one of these.
yep, have read/seen all them posts thanks marg
thing what i'm getting at is that they're now professing to post all the answers to the weekly mags/puzzler comps :rotfl:& they say it's a new part they've started !
mse members on here post these every week/month on here so are they getting there answers/posts from here which seems bad to me when the ops on here are buying/posting the comps for freeplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -

marg - mycomps when i was a member just listed the comps and you entered them, its not a we enter for you service as far as im aware
All the comps on that site are already on here, plus i trust 100% the answers for the weeklies, puzzler's etc from here only and in all the time i was a member, what did i win - zilch! :rotfl::rotfl:
lol at the £37 a week though, if they think thats a lot, they should see what i spend each month on mags :rotfl::rotfl::D
agree there ppdi spend loads more than that on mags & takes a lot longer doing the puzzles if you add the puzzler/weekly/
etc comps on,
they say they have a 'dedicated bunch' finding the comps & answers, sounds like they find them from here :rotfl:
must admit once i was tempted to join that grapevine site
but was told it was the same as the other one's that ask you to pay & all the comps/mags/ etc are on here first anywayplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Is any one else having problem with these. Some of them are not showing the advertising questions and are then sayins oops! youve not answered the Question. Its been going on for days now. Not sure if this has already been asked though so sorry if it has!!0

Thinking about the ongoing discussion of flashcomps on twitter. Since it seems that the way forward is not to have a separate section or even thread on here, I was wondering if there is any way that we could make it easier for each other to find them directly on twitter, by using a hashtag. My idea was for example we could tweet #mseflashcomp @xczcompany or #flashcomp @abccompany then we could all find the recent ones by seaching the relevant hashtag. Would this work do you think?0

Funny, I was thinking similar this morning.
I was again thinking about a thread here with "check out @xxx posts - flashcomp" rather than posting the full comp details. There's not many who post twitter threads so they could just have one post within the thread which they keep updating and those interested could just pop into the thread as suits - would keep the thread from being constantly bumped which annoys people.
However, that's probably too complicated (and no one would go for it!) and I like your idea better.Hmmmm, need new siggie :cool:0 -
I was also wondering whether it would be useful to have a "Hints & tips" post on Twitter comps - e.g. "always RT the Tweet from the company running the comp, not the person RTing", "where the tweet is in X format, it's probably an extra entry from a main comp so click on the bit link to find the source", "go back to the source to make sure it's not a very old/expired RT going around" - that sort of thing.Hmmmm, need new siggie :cool:0

But isn't that a bit like your previous suggestion that was a non starter?
If we want to try out the hastag idea, we just need a few more people who think it is a good idea and we can trial it.0 -

There is already a useful guide here:-

kisto did that one, but it was before twitter changed to the present layout. I don't know if there is a new one anywhere showing the new version.0 -
