Just in case anyone is reading this thread and hasn't seen it, there is an interesting discussion going on in I won, I won, I won, about sites where people pay companies to enter competitions on their behalf and how some companies receive in the region of 100,000 presumably as a result of this. Does anyone know if there is anything on here to help with/explain twitter comps?
I'm trying desperately and failing miserably to get the hang of it? :mad:
I'm sure there will be something really useful on here but no matter where I look, I can't seem to find it?:(

There is a guide to twitter for comping that I know of, not on this site, but on Janes Grapevine here:-

I'm not very good with facebook. I have never really got to grips with it. Now I keep reading posts about your account being banned if you don't use your real name. I have got my middle name as Mse. Is there any way I can change my profile to delete my fictitious middle name?

Oh My Goodness, I've not even attempted FaceBook yet!! I would probably have a nervous breakdown getting to grips with that as well.

Whilst trying to get more info on Twitter, I came accross this http://www.competitionclub.co.uk/comping-questions.html which has a bit of info re Facebook, not sure if this will be of any help? If I find anything else I will let you know...x:)

hiya, if you go to your facebook home page NOT your profile page, you will see your name then home then a drop down arrow all top right, click on the drop down arrow and go to account settings your 1st thing should be your name, you can click ''edit'' on the right to change your name it takes upto 24 hours for the name change to go through.

Smooth radio has started a new quiz today. You have to ring a premium rate number to be registered to be picked to enter. Cost 36p for the phone call. The registration only lasts for the day you make the call. If you want to put your name forward for the week on a daily basis it will cost you 36p every day just to go on a list.

Somebody is making some serious money out of this and it is not the listener.
