Hi, sounds like we have had similar days! A lazy day for me..even watched the Devil Wears Prada with DD1! Have also meal planned..including getting OH to make lentil and veggie curry tomorrow. Healthier but also much cheaper. Fridge so low am sure will have to buy some stuff but hopefully not too much.

Have a fun day tomorrow. We may get some sparklers in..not too sure about doing fireworks though as have pets. The formal display was postponed due to the weather :-(

  • Hi Brizzle, hope your well.
I love that film, in fact its one of my all time favourites.

    Enjoy the sparklers.
  • Nothing much to update today, spending time at home, catching up on housework and washing, have done a few surveys as well.

Bank account is down to £3 due to some DD going out today, child ben goes in tomorrow thank goodness.

Ebay bids are at £4, better than nothing though.

Trying to see what I can use up instead of buying at the minute, have chopped up some of DS old summer tshirts that couldn't be ebayed due to marks, these will be used as floor clothes, gone through stash of smellies in bathroom and we should be ok for shower gel, shampoo etc until after christmas, have lots of big sheets of brown paper, so near christmas i'm going to do some potao printing with kids and turn it into christmas wrapping paper, old christmas cards from last year have already been turned into gift tags, have some christmas cards from the sales which will do for the kids to send.
  • Pur£ profile surveys are currnetly taking referrels, if anyones interested in joining pm me.

Been outside and chopped up an old bedside table that had broken, will burn it on the woodburner this evening, will keep the CH off for tonight and save a few ££££.
  • Morning, back to work for me.

Went to firwork display last night, which was a nice family thing to do, Oh bought tickets to get in £10, I spent £3 gave kids £1 each to buy some sweets and spent another £1 on some treacle toffee for me and OH to share.

Have managed to do another couple of surveys this mornng, kids are going to grandparents today as not back at school so will be fed there and I've grabbed some HM soup and some fruit for my lunch.

Couple of ebay items finish today, won't make a lot but every little helps.
  • Evening quick update.

Have spent £7 on tea subs at work, have also put £40 of fuel in the car.

    Made £10.50 on ebay.

Seem to have done loads of surveys recently but no where near payout on any:(.

Made sausage casserole for tea, I didn't fancy it so have plated mine up for OH lunch tomorrow, might grab some cereal in a bit.

Need to get some baking done, might do it once the kids are in bed. Also need to put crisps fruit and biscuit in kids lunch boxes, then all I have to do in the morning is make sarnies and fill water bottles.
  • Well done on the ebay sales, like you say better than nothing. xx

Well done on keeping the CH off. We have washing on driers all day in the kitchen at the moment and often in front of the woodburner. Looks blo&dy awful but only way to dry it at the moment.

Have a horrible feeling that my 15 year old WM is about to go phut..that is an expense I really don't need right now so pls send positive thoughts to my WM and tell it to keep on going!!:rotfl:
