Well done on the meal plan, thats some organising.:T
Don't be too hard on yourself about Bcard, look at it as a blessing in disguise. You are back on the straight and narrow now and don't need that horrid card. Thanks Alice, yes it is a blessing in disguise, could just do with a lottery win to pay everything off:).
Woke up a couple of times in the night with that panicy feeling, told myself off this morning, not sleeping and being tired is not going to help matters:(, I ned to be able to function and make money.
Its so cold today, It has been pouring hail stones all morning and my drive is white, have put my thermal vest on and put the heating on low, also told the kids to put layers on, DS is watching tv and snuggled under a fleece blanket, have told the kids we are not going anywhere today as it is too cold and we are having a baking afternoon, so that will warm the house:D.
Have recieved £5 into paypal from my$urvey and have spent the morning doing quite a few surveys, still need to do superpoints and swagbucks though.
Can't believe how quickly this week has gone, oh well back to work next week.0 -
How frustrating about Bcard  hope it turns out to be a blessing in disguise. I'm too reliant on ccs still at the moment, so I can see your frustration. It wouldn't surprise me if I got a similar letter.
I'm bagsying the £95 million Euromillions tonightbut you can have tomorrow's normal lotto rollover if you want (how generous am I?
)
Hope you have a good day, and baking sounds good!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Wow £95 million, i'd be happy with a tenner at the minute.0

Morning pennywise,
What the hell are bcard playing at?! Heyho nevermind like you say it removes the temptation but it does still play on your mind.
Well done on the meal planning, very organised!!!
Hope your ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning Penny, we went through the same thing with each of our ccs in turn, they did the we're going to raise your interest rate thing with us. My understanding is they are becoming 'responsible lenders', bit late for the global economy but any excuse they can find to screw the little people.
Anyway you want to get rid of them so use it as a focus to get there!
Have you done a SOA? Might help, i've redone ours and i was way under on petrol and diesel as they have gone up so much.
I think you do a great job with your vouchers and your meal planning and baking etc etc, so chin up, we'll get there:D.Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs

Hi mummy, yes it has removed the temptation and given me a boot up the backside as well.
Hi PWD, they didn't even send a letter about interest, probably because whats on the card is on a low life of balance, yep SOA has been done and have seen where we can cut back and where we are overspending.
So far this morning I have made tomato and lentil soup and put stewing beef in the slow cooker, we are having meat and tatty pie for tea, Also managed 2 loads of washing but have had to dry them in the dryer as its throwing it down here.
Have recieved a moisturiser in the post to test and Mr T clubcard vouchers have arrived, £10 worth. OH has taken DD to her riding lesson, so I wrote him a list and sent him with £10 of vouchers and another voucher for £2.50 off a £10 spend on dairy, see how he gets on looked very confused when I said you must spend between £12.50 and £13 on milk/cheese/yogs, then had over £2.50 voucher first with clubcard and then £10 of clubcard vouchers, then it should only cost 50p at the most, oh god what have I done.
Must take photos of a couple of ebay items and list them today.0 -
Hope your DH copes, mine forgot to take the £5 off the £40 shop to Tesco the other night and now we don't really need £40 worth of stuff before it runs out - arrgghh!!Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs

Hi PWD, could you get some bits to put away for christmas to get it to the £40 mark.
Well OH managed very well, Got 3 blocks cheese BOG2F, 2 packs of muller corners BOGOF, 2 x 4 pints of milk, calpol 6+ (on offer at £2.50 and I had another voucher for £1 off) and some yummy fresh baked bread and the cost in cold hard cash was 88p :j.0 -
Good afternoon/evening.
Managed a NSD today and to be honest not really done much, made a monster english breakfast this morning as hubby was going to our old house to do some painting (we really need to get it rented out asap). Had lunch HM soup around 2pm as we were stuffed from brekkie, so a late tea is in order, rst chicken and all the trimmings yum yum, won't be eating that until 7ish.
My 2 are not back at school until wednesday, i'm back at work tues, so tomorrow will be a lazy day at home, think we may be going to a firework display tomorrow evening if the weather is ok, so that will cost, will have tea before we go so not tempted by burgers and hot dogs.
Have gone through 2 boxes today from when we moved, one contained lots of old paperwork, so lots of that has been shredded and what is needed filed away, the other box had loads of cookery books in that never got unpacked from when we moved last time, so not seen daylight for 5 years as I had no room to put them out, so they have been put on a shelf in the kitchen and when I get chance I will go through them and see if I can find some yummy recipes, one was a christmas baking book so I defo need to have a look through that one.0
