Just ignore. Nothing new in that letter and nothing to worry about. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

I have also had debt collector letter from roxburghe on behalf of new generation parking management. again I am a bit apprehensive about not paying but they want £150 for me not paying up £50 straight away having ignored the letters from seeing the posts here. So am I right to ignore it still it is a parking charge notice, any advice would be great. mine is signed steve dargonne.

Hi all!
Having received my first letter today for £148 I was wondering if you could clear up a couple of points for me?
1. This is the first iv heard about any parking fine! A ticket was not in the car and there has been no correspondence from the private company. Surely this shouldn't be the first I hear about?!
2. How can I be charged late fees for not paying when I had no knowledge of it in the first place?
3. From reading through it appears they can only sue for loss? How does this work for a residential car park with visitor bays that you DONT pay for?!!
Sorry if you have answered but as you can imagine I am extremely unimpressed!!0 -
1) they are scammers.
2) They can charge what they like
3) They don't do court
4) ignoreExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Thank you!0

We hear about "missing" tickets or first letters so regularly, that I cannot believe that it's always a postal problem. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0

Just search roxburghe on youtube and look at Mrs Fagends recorded phone calls to them and graham white, there are at least 4 well worth a toot
:D enjoy
PPCs say its carpark management, BPA say its raising standards..... we all know its just about raking in the revenue. :eek:0 -
Typical thoughts that newbies have in error, about these fake PCNs:
They think it's a real parking fine = WRONG.
They think because the DVLA release the registered keeper's data that the PPC must have some sort of authority = WRONG.
They think that because major retailers like Supermarkets use these firms that it 'can't be a scam' = WRONG.
They think that a debt collector can/will call round = WRONG.
They believe the empty threats in the 'debt collector' letters = WRONG.
They think that it may affect their credit rating = WRONG.
Just play snap with the letters, it's EASY. I am an ordinary wife and Mum with a responsible job and clean credit record and I have ignored 2 fake PCNs. I would very happily collect more and laughed when I got both of mine.
@ not a happy bunny, you seem to have landed from Google onto a very random old thread from 2011 - we have HUNDREDS of more recent ones about the fake PCN scam carried out by hundreds of firms. You need to read the forum more. See my signature. Click once on the end of the blue breadcrumb trail >link>chain at the top of this page, on the words my signature mentions.
Look at the current forum and read the sticky thread second-from-top 'PPC letter chains'.
Watch the Watchdog clip linked on there and read the other links at the top. Check out the letter-chain pics so you both know what to expect = MORE LETTERS!
It's only junk mail, nothing more. No more bothersome than deleting a series of phishing emails, honestly.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

1) Don't try and apply logic to these goons, the bottom line is they are scammers and will do anything to scrape a living out of the honest. I have chains of letters that are postmarked 3/4 weeks later than the date typed in the letter. Funnily enough these were always the letters threatening increased charges should I not pay up. The whole process (from ticket to wherever it goes) is just one big sloppy puddle of poop, 'designed' (as much as can be by these thick cretins) to unsettle, scare and coerce people.
2) How can anything happen? Look at every aspect of a Private Parking Company and you will struggle to find any reason other than maximising profit.
3) Similar to above, how does any of it work? It doesn't really, they are just thuggish enough to scare people into paying money for nothing. It is nothing but extortion!
I know there's been plenty of answers already but I always found the more replies the more it put my mind at ease. Don't worry - just keep the letters handy incase you run out of loo roll!0 -

Correct, a landowner (not his agents) can seek losses and not a penny more. Should a case make it to court, the landowner's representative will be required to provide an analysis for how the defendant's action has generated a bill of the amount sought which in this case is £148 - the biggest sum I have encountered and I am a veteran PPC detractor. As you say, this is not a car park that charges in the first place so your antagonist will be hard pushed to satisfy a judge as to how their losses even reach a fiver (£5).0
