Well, if you put them on notice that you weren't the driver and the dummies carry on, they are wide open to being sued for unlawful harassment. Won't be a new experience for them.

    UPDATE:

The parking company didn't send a reply to my letter, but instead forwarded my case on to the debt collectors. This morning I recieved this leter from them.

''We have been instructed by the above named client who has informed us that a PARKING CHARGE NOTICE was isued for the above mentioned vehicle and the driver should have paid. However, we are advised that they have not yet recieved payment, or any valid dispute.

Your data has been provided to us by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency ~(under Regulation 27 (1)(e) of the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) Regulataions 2002'') and they have advised us that you were the registered keeper of the vehicleat the relevant date and time.

If you were the driver, you must pay the total amount Due as stated above within 14 days from the date of this letter.

In line with the terms and conditions of parking at the above site, you have incurred late payment charges which are included in the Total Amount Due. Please send us payment to the address above. Cheques should be made payment to Roxburghe (uk) Limited quoting our reference on the reverse.

If you were not the driver at this time, please tell us who was driving by completing the details below.

    Yours sincerly

    Steve Dargonne

All of the letters you have described are already shown in our second-to-top sticky thread 'PPC letters & threats'. May not be listed under 'your' scammers but browse all the PPCs which use the Roxburghe/Graham White letter chain and you WILL find your scamograms!

You can look now and see which exciting 'Graham White aka Roxburghe again' template letters you can look forward to. See my signature as the forum index (stickies at the top) is only ever one click away from any thread.

And as for that 'Steve Dargonne' - he certainly exists as I used to know of him in the eighties when he worked at Midland Bank, Goring West Sussex. Think of David Brent in 'The Office' and you'd be close to a fair mental picture of Steve, only he's older and greyer, in his fifties. He is not a person for anyone to ever be scared of, especially as the OFT are 'minded to revoke' Roxburghe's CCA licence. :D

See this info which tells you that GW is in fact just Roxburghe again:

Thousands of people have ignored such letters. Nothing happens, no Court, no CCJ, no affect on your credit rating - and they cannot just send the boys round! Please show your partner all these replies and the sticky thread with the letter-chains preview - it's just a matter of playing snap with each letter, honestly.

Or suing them for harassment (why not take them to a real Court and get money from them, givethemFA can confirm!!).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I've been telling partner to ignore letters we get re parking so called fines, but just treble checking for my peace of mind.
Today had letter from VP parking soloutions limited demanding payment for £94 threatening court action and instructing courts to issue baliffs.

    Still ignore them right?

Yes, just relax. There won't be any court action except at Wimbledon if the rain stops by then.

If you have been good and ignored, they won't have any evidence as to who the driver was, so they cannot even make first base.

But even if you've told them (tssk tssk!) then, as their claim is not enforceable... well, I refer you to my first paragraph.

Ignore, ignore, then, ignore a bit more... till there's nothing to ignore because they have cleared off.

Thank you, That's what I was wanting to hear. I've made no contact whatsoever, I wasn't actually the driver at time anyway. Also for the record the original letter was from AS securities or similar and now is VP dealing with it.

Glad you came here for reassurance, sandhabibi! Carry on ignoring.

It was me on paidtoshop who told you this was all a scam and nothing has changed. Over here, we have all ignored a fake PCN or several! :D

    It's over 80 for me.

Number of court cases = 1.

But that was where I sued one of THEM for harassment.

Well done on the ignoring the fake solicitors :) point your family to this sub forum so they can see how to deal with these chancers.
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
