hello, there may someone able to tell me any cheap way to call or texting Mauritius i call there and text there a lot i already tried every calling card and paying 25p per text from 3 network waiting for someone respond ?

Get a Lebara simm card ( £1 ) calls to mobiles and landlines are 15p.

Have you tried unlimitedtext.co.uk

This costs £3 per month which is added to your normal bill and you don't need to download any programmes. You just dial the number they give you first and on the first line of the text enter the number you want to send your message to. You can send any amount of international texts for £3 per month.

I don't know whether I am being a bit thick, but I can't see any ref. to text messaging on the 18185 website, any assistance from users gratefully received.

just went here and can send 1 page of free text to any country, free of charge. it only sends one page at a time but as many times as you want, regerting is easy also

haven't tried it from my internet on my phone yet, but can't see why i won't work

Viber works very well for us. My daughter in London has the 3 £15 monthly top up (xxx minutes, xxxx texts and all you can eat data) she uses the data plan to sent texts through viber to us.
We are in Luxembourg and have contracts with data and wifi at home. Free texts with viber all day long
