Quality Places to eat... Monro, Duke Street; Tavern, Queens Square, Bistro Franc.

Anglican cathedral is beautiful- go up to the roof for fab views of city.
Catholic cathedral also worth a visit, worth going down to the crypt to see how the cathedral would have looked.
William brown street has the art gallery and the museum, beautiful buildings. Also st georges hall just a minutes walk away has a visitors centre and you can see the inside of st george's hall, would definitely go there.
The Albert dock is nice to walk around and the world museum is very good. The Liverpool duck is very good

and Bistro Pierre in the Cavern Quarter do a good menu, I believe you can also go up the radio city tower for a tour at a reasonable price - but not tried that yet as it looks a little bit too high x0

Just outside the city centre in Crosby you can find the Anthony Gormley statues 'Another Place' on the beach.0

Red hot buffet is getting ripped apart by people for the past few months, bland badly organised & lack of quality food. But not by me I havent been since March 2010 since they completely ruined a special celebration. (buffet star hanover street IMO is much better ) just chinese and thai though. hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0

It's in the business district but not far from Moorfields station and easily walk able back into town- and downhill all the way!"A savoury muffin?? As if life wasn't disappointing enough!" Miranda0 -
As others have mentioned the World museum is well worth a visit. Entrance is donations only and the Aquarium alone is well worth the effort.0
