I use the Co-op own brand. Their standard washing tablets are good (the orange ones smell lovely and are often on offer too) and their eco range is very good too, the detergent is cheap but the conditioner is a bit expensive. The orange tablets work out cheaper because they include conditioner.
The big name brands and most big supermarket brands are tested on animals (I believe Sainsburys might be BUAV approved but not sure) and fabric conditioner contains animal ingredients (the cationic surfectants, I have probably spelt that wrong but they are usually derived from animals). I like the Co-op because they state which products are free from animal ingredients and they don't use ingredients tested on animals since 1989 or so.0 -

I've been using Asda's own brand liquitabs for ages now. There is no difference between these and the Ariel I used to use apart from price. I had a look at the price of Ariel liquitabs today and they are £6.79 for 21 whereas the Asda ones are £3.87 for 20.There is nothing better in life than writing on the sole of your slipper with a biro.....0
