    Hey Jalapee, I think our solicitors have been reading your thread....mine just said I can go in tomorrow and sign contracts ready to exchange in next few days (defo before xmas)!! This is the most i've spoken to her in 16 weeks!

    I wish i'd get that call. I'm selling to a FTB & moving into a mates place so no long chain. Its been 4 weeks now and my wife wants to go away for xmas & new year. I've not booked anything as I've been saying we could exchange near to xmas. Getting it in the neck daily!!!

    when i feel i have spoken too many times to my sollicitor during the week, i pester the estate agent for an update. he call both sollicitor and put my mind at ease!
