I can't go under it, I can't go over it....I'll have to go through it

  • Happy Christmas Eve everyone :rudolf:

Have just checked the finances and the credit card is higher than I thought, I forgot that there was some bits to be added on still that hadn’t processed….grrr! never mind, just gives me more of a challenge I guess.

I need to go through the budget and look at the bank statement and work out what we’ve got left to come out and what we’ve got remaining in the bank account.

DH gets paid again on the 15th January…seems like ages but it really isn’t. I go back to work on the 5th and DH on the 3rd, I am aiming to have as many NSD’s as possible in between, need to resist the urge to go to Tesco’s…not only that but it doesn’t do my waistline any good as I just eat crap when I go there.

So my plan so far is looking like this:

    · Reduce the debt by a minimum of £3500 over next year.
    · Stop the Tesco trips unless needed.
    · Finish my TA course.
    · Get a TA job.
    · Be organised for Christmas 2012.
    · Have the willpower to do the NSD’s and stick to it.
    · Meal plan again and stick to it.
    · Try and walk to the kid’s school more.
    · Get the Level 2 maths done and out of the way.
    · Reduce my alcohol intake during the week…wine once the kids are in bed is my weakness.
    · Get the house in order and make headway on the housework in a morning before school.

That should keep me busy for a while, I need to keep up with my diary as well as this keeps me sane and motivated.

Right off to get the washing sorted and get the kids lunches made.

If I don’t get chance to log on tomorrow, I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and lots of mince pies to eat lol. x

  • Morning :D

Hope that everyone had a great Christmas? I'm itching to take the tree down now.

Had a good time but want to get on with the New Year!

£2 coin added to my pot, 40p in 20p's added to the pot and 10p added to the demi-john :D

I also had three £1 coins so added them to the £2 coin pot, not too sure what I'm going to do with those at the moment, might wait until I have some more then add them to the budget card?

I'm still waiting on the credit card total to update, I think it may be because of the Christmas period, but at least once it has I'll know what I'm working on.

I've made a start on Christmas 2012 and have bought a few bits and pieces already, I'm going to wait now until the Summer and have another look and see if I can get the remaining bits, then I'll only have DH and the kids to sort out.

Have a good day everyone x
