  • Hi Hidden,

Thankfully no the snow didn't settle although I am surprised it didn't considering how badly it came down. xx
  • Sunday, can’t believe that this time next week it will be Christmas Day…EEEKKK!!!

I’ve got all the presents I needed to buy yesterday and whilst I want wandering around the shops being barged into and pushed past, I made a resolve that next Christmas it will not happen like this. I am going to be organised again! It did however get me away from my two monsters for a few hours :)

DH doesn’t know it yet, but he’s getting a stocking this year lol. I’m going to make out to the kids that I’ve just found it and that perhaps they should give it to daddy.

So on to the moneysaving side of things; 14p went in the demi-john and 60p in the 20p pot, we could have gone to the pub last night but decided against it and drank at home instead.

DH and DS have gone to the climbing wall; it’s the last one of DS’s climbing sessions until the New Year, two weeks reprieve before we need to pay for the next set.

My lovely mum has been spoiling us again this year, for those that don’t know every year she sends us things, such as wine, Tesco vouchers etc and this year is no different. She has sent us lots of different things this time and we are now on part one of the last part and I am waiting for a delivery from Majestic Wines to arrive :D I don’t know why she does it and I’ve said to her plenty of times she should save her money but she says she likes spoiling us.

Right I’d better get organised, I’ve got washing to sort and washing up to do and kids lunches to make for tomorrow.

Have a good day everyone. x

Love the positive attitude, you're doing great. I've not long started my own diary after recently becoming Debt Free and wanting to keep it that way. I'll be subscribing to yours to support you also. :)

  • Goodmorning

Our snow stuck ds is sooo happy about it lol and when he woke up to more this morning he thinks its amazing.

How lovely of your mum :D

    Have a nice day :)
  • Hi Tru - Welcome to the madness lol I will apologise now for my boring writing.

Hi Hidden - You can keep your snow (at least until Tuesday but even then once the kids have finished school) I'm glad your DS loves it, my two are the same and they are sweet when they play in it.

    Mince pie anyone???

I can go off you! :rotfl::rotfl:
  • I forgot I have a confession to make...I spent £1.49 on iTunes...I treated myself for Christmas and bought the Military Wives Choir song that's out.
  • Back with an update, am presently at the soft play centre with the kids :D spent £12 to get in and some more besides but it is a treat and they have been for ages.

Anyway on to next week, DH has to have an op tomorrow so I doubt I’ll be on here, nothing exciting but depending on the results a further op is planned for next year; can’t say too much in case of prying eyes and if DH found out he’d go berserk at me.

Tues – Volunteer job in the morning and paid job at lunchtime, we have DH’s nephew/wife and kids coming up that day too, so the kids will be excited when they come home from school.

Weds to Thurs we are at SiL’s, DH’s other sister will be there too and MiL, chance to exchange presents and get drunk :)

Fri – I need to get my friend’s present over to him and his wife, so I may briefly ‘disappear’ and leave DH with the monsters.

Sat – We’ll no doubt be getting the last minute bits of shopping for Christmas with the rest of the Tesco vouchers that my mum sent down :D

I am aiming that most of next week will be NSD’s, I’m aiming to try and get into the habit of these again and reduce what I am spending as well as getting into a routine with the house (it’s a mess at the moment with far too much clutter!), Flylady beckons again.

I will need to find my old diary and find my ‘plan’ and see if I can adapt or change it to suit the upcoming year, just need to find out where I left it.

That’s all for now I think, just needed to get this written down. x
