Not too sure how you will be doing the totals? do you mean posting how many we have got for the month eg:- £30 saved in jan, £24 in feb etc
OR
posting totals each month and adding it on each month eg:- £30 in jan, then feb would be £24 +£30 = £54 etc
If that makes any sense to you!!!PAD Maker0 -
Hi people
Hope you enjoy saving with us will-be-debt-free.
Mandz1 and everyone: I had a look at the thread igamogam mentioned and they appear to post everyday with how much money they have paid off a debt, and some kind person takes the responsibility for adding up all these amount to get a monthly total of how much money the whole thread has paid off their debts.
That would be way too much mork for me to do loland pretty pointless here as we are only saving one specific coin and you all know that it is easy to go for a few weeks without getting any at all.
BUT if people are interested in totals we could either do a yearly or six monthly total for example to help encourage everyone along, but it is entirely up to all of you. I really don't want to pressure people into thinking they need to save a certain amount by a certain date, or that they need to keep a running total of what they save unless that is what everyone wants. It would also mean that we are all saving towards the same type of date rather than towards a specific holiday/event etc.
Just trying to point out the pros and cons - I don't want to influence the concensus of opinion either way so PLEASE POST YOUR INDIVIDUAL OPINION if you have one :A
Hope everyone is happy with that:T

Hiya, first £2 coin in the pot.
My aim is that once I have £20 saved this will either go on the budget card or the Tesco card for Christmas next year.

Hello
I found this idea late in the year this year and ended up with about £34 for a shopping trip.
I'd like to give it a go in 2012 as well if you'll have me?!

Welcome aboard to all new savers, and welcome back to those who've done it before
Got my first "2012" coins, so that's £4 in the tin.
Good luck and happy hunting to everyone :beer:0 -
