Oh sorry- I keep meaning to update, especially with my list, I just never seem to have the time and I get so caught up in other peoples threads :o

Things are going great - Andy is loving his new job, is bringing in a very good wage and got a load of tax back last week so that was more money to throw at the debts. Just miss him 'cos he is working all hours - he doesn't mind, he enjoys the job - I just get lonely sometimes.

Sam is,as always a darling and Mollie, well, she is getting to be a right monkey - shes climbling up on the sofas and then on to the tables next to them so she needs to be watched all the time  It doesn't help that our kitchen is a floor up from the living and dinning rooms. She seems to have no fear whatsoever - it must be girls as Sam wasn't at all like this!!!

I see my Dad about twice a week when he calls so thats great and we really enjoy having him here and he enjoys the children so much its lovely to see.
He gave us some money to go the Dr Who exhibition in Manchester last week so we had a great day out even though it was Sam who wanted to go he was scared of all the monsters :rotfl:

I still haven't seen my Mum but I did allow my dad to take him up there yesterday to do some gardening with them and he enjoyed himself but I made sure my Dad knew I didn't want Sam left alone with my Mum.
It was awful as I was sat here thinking all sorts but he arrived home safe and sound so I will just have to overcome my fears as its him and his happiness that count.

My Mum has bought some summer clothes for both the children and whilst it is very much appreciated I really wish she would learn and stop spending. I don't want to sound ungrateful because I am grateful, its just, well, I don't know............I sent her a thank you letter anyway.

We are e-baying like mad, just listed all my Weller things so hopefully we will make some more money to pay the debts off. Am finding it hard to budget due to Andrew getting paid weekly but we are managing ok. We found out his brother +SIL are selling their house to pay their debts off so we think ourselves lucky in that way - we pay a good amount towards our debt each month so its slowly going down - we hope to be debt free in about 3 years  god, thats sounds bad doesn't it? His brother and SIL are in much more debt than we are it seems but still manage to afford things we can't but I'm not complaining - I'm happy and my family is happy, healthy and wonderful so thats all I care about. As long as we are happy and can keep the roof over our heads and pay our bills etc then everything will be ok.

I feel much better in myself and am learning to cope with the bad things that happen more easily and I hope to get stronger day by day. It helps so much having a hubby like I do, he is so supportive and loving and caring I count myself very lucky, and of course I have the best two children in the world ;)

Mollie is 1 a week on Friday and I can't believe how the time has flown, I think I am going to invite my Mum & Dad to tea on that day but i want to see my Mum by myself first so it isn't weird on Mollie's special day. At least we don't have to buy her any birthday presents as we went a bit mad at Christmas and when we were wrapping her presents up we realised some of them were for 12 months+ and she had so many that we put some away to give her on her birthday.

Other than that - all is fine and dandy, thank you for asking xxxxx

    Thanks for asking xxxxx

Surely they can't afford the things they're buying, that's why they're selling their house. If they only bought what they truly needed and could afford, like a dfw, who knows they might not have needed to take such drastic action. You are prioritising keeping a roof over your heads and your family happy, which I'd say makes you very lucky!! :T

weller its so fab to hear you so well and so positive. three years to be debt free is not a huge amount of time...hopefully it will fly by.

glad your relationship with your dad is back on track. I think you are very gracious to even consider inviting your mum to mollie's birthday.

keep up the good work..and I love the new title of your thread! what a change in three months! :)
