Hi Weller, so glad to hear that things are going well for you all!!
:T :T0 -
Just read the whole thread!
I thought my mum was bad until I read about yours!
The thing that I have learnt after many years of heartache is that you cant change your mum - the only thing you can change is your reaction to her. It sounds like you are doing very well and have made huge progress in a short time.

...true wealth in this world is children and family.
So long as you've got each other, you've got everything.
As for money, its really a vain thing. Sure, it needed - but love and family first.
all the best

Aww, thank you - thats lovely - I do count myself very lucky and privilaged to have such wonderful children and OH.
Mollie took her first steps last night - only two and she was clapping her little hands like mad - there were tears running down my face - stupid eh? I can't believe my baby girl has grown so much so soon and the thought that I probably won't have another baby kind of breaks my heart but I know its for the best, we have to make sure we can look after the children we've got!!!!
Andy is working all day today so I'm busy doing nothing but I need to buy Mollie some birthday cards so we might go to the local shopping centre tonight, Sam has got £5 to spend from his Pa (Grandpa) so is thinking of buying a Dr Who Comic.
We have rearranged our mortgage payments so that instead of paying on the first of the month we now pay on the 17th so we are doing really well, this allows us to budget better as its hard getting to grips with Andys weekly pay - touch wood - we have enough in the bank now to cover it and then we've got tax credits going in on the 15th and Andy gets paid on the
17th so things are looking good especially as all the overtime he works one week, eg this weekend he will get paid for on next Thursday. All the debts have been paid already this month and theres only a couple of DD left to come out so hopefully we will have more to pay the debts next month.
Anyway, will stop rambling and go and make the kids lunch xxxxx0 -
:T :T well done Mollie
but yes I have to agree there is a tinge of sadness that they are growing so quickly.

Awww I read the first few pages of this thread and sighed... smiled and blinked back a few tears... then dipped in and out until the end..
Sounds like you are well on track there.... but if there are times when you think that you are going down the road that is wrong for you... read this.... its helped me through divorce, losing my baby, and cancer 3 times...
Autobiography in Five Short Chapters
By Portia Nelson
Chapter I
I walk down the street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I fall in
I am lost . . . I am helpless
It isn’t my fault.
It takes forever to find a way out.
Chapter II
I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I pretend I don’t see it.
I fall in again.
I can’t believe I am in the same place.
But, it isn’t my fault.
It still takes a long time to get out.
Chapter III
I walk down the same street
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I see it is there.
I still fall in . . . it’s a habit.
My eyes are open.
I know where I am.
It is my fault.
I get out immediately.
Chapter IV
I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I walk around it.
Chapter V
I walk down another street.0 -
