weller I am so pleased andy got a new job...and more money even better.

glad it went well with your dad. at least the communication has opened up again.

I think hearing about your mum's past might let you understand her behaviour but it does not give her any permission to treat you in the way she has.

I am so pleased for you...you soooo deserve a break!

7 hammers lol - are there 7 different ways of hitting things with them? (that's a genuine question by the way - I have NO idea about diy at all!).

I'm so glad Sunday went okay and you managed to sort out the mortgage. I'm keeping my fingers crossed about the job interview.

It does sound like your Mum needs to talk to someone, but your main priority at the moment is keeping yourself and your family healthy in body and in mind. I'm sorry she had a difficult childhood, and I'm glad you understand some of the reasons for her behaviour, as it might help you to deal with it more easily, but please don't let her treat you badly just because 'she's got issues'. Just let it spur you on to beat your own demons and break the cycle.

Looooooooooove the bump Snaggles, so neat and tidy and pert - wish I was like that even when not pregnant :rotfl:

Congrats all round weller :) and well done to Andy, what a rollercoaster you have both been riding!

Don't forget to pursure Andy's previous employer for his wages (forget exactly how or who he would need to speak to).

    Hi there Weller
    Well done on
    a) sorting out your mortgage
    b) sorting out your dad
    c) sorting out a new job for Andy
wow I need to have a lie down after only TYPING what you have accomplished this weekend!

    YOU ROCK!

Just a tiny word of caution. Ref weekly pay. You may have to be really disciplined to make sure the bill money gets paid into another account or something every week, so that the monthly bills don't become a burden!

    Well done you
