    Weller,

I have just read this entire thread and you have had me in tears of sadness and joy. I'm so pleased you are getting there with your lovely family.

Keep us all updated and al the best,

Is it just me - or does anyone else think that this thread is a novel in episodic form?

Forgive me if I am taking this the wrong way but I originally posted because I was heartbroken over a conversation with my son. From then, the support of this site has been amazing, really amazing and I do feel that I have been on a journey - up and down and up and down but throughout it all people on here have supported me no end. It really helps to have the support this site has given and I feel great gratitude. Now, i'm sorry you feel that this thread "is a novel" - i would more likely call it my journey though I am sure that other peoples journeys have been greater - things are on the up now (apart from our debt) but I'm sure there will be times along the way that I again need the support - are you saying I shouldn't post? Forgive me for "asking" for support when the times have been bad - though I would gladly give support to those who need it. The last few weeks have been like a rollercoaster - want to give it a go?

If indeed this thread seems like a novel - perhaps you could kindly point me in the direction of a publisher and then they can print it and I can make lots of money, be debt free, have a big house and live happily ever after.

Just read this through again Weller - See how much strength you have there compared with just a few weeks ago!

  • Hi Weller. My first ever reply! Just to say Time is what little boys want from their Mums more than ANYTHING. My 7 year old son loves it if we 'visit the cafe' together. That simply means I throw a cloth on the kitchen table. He 'orders' a hot chocolate, I make a tea. We have a home made bun and chat lots about everythinh & anything! Must dash to get him from school now. Think we'll do it tonight. Want to join us?! XX

I do the something similar with my niece and nephews. We go to the resturant together, ie first we check what's in the fridge, make a menu with a couple of choices. Then we take out the nice china and lay the table. The niece take up orders and I cook whatever they have ordered. (I'm a horrible cook). Then one of the nephews will serve, another will clean and we pay the bill with monopoly money.

    Cheers

Sorry Weller, I thanked this person thinking they meant that you'd been through a hell of a lot - like a whole book, in a short period of time - I didn't think they were being provocative - so that's why I thanked them, not because I think anything awful!

Just wanted to clear that up! :)
