D day has arrived (almost).. worrying hugely.

I know it probably seems silly on the grand scale of what others are going through.
Tomorrow is court. Ex has applied for full residensy. Has accused me of abusing and being violent to the children.

I know I am innocent, but cant help but worry.
He has made accussations weekly for the last 2 months. I feel sick to my stomach. He has painted me out to be a terrible mother and a horrible person.

I know if I feel intimidated or controlled tomorrow I will just give in and back down.
I feel so stupid for not being able to be stronger for my kids.

Sorry just need an outlet I think.

  • From what I remember of your previous post your ex hasn't got a hope.

Don't be intimidated. Stand up for your kids - you know it's not just that you want them, but that they are better off with you.

It's natural to feel worried and nervous tonight - don't expect to get too much sleep, see if you can distract yourself with a film or something.

Good luck tomorrow (not that you need it, you are going to be fine and you will win).

Let us know how it all goes. :grouphug:

Good luck tomorrow, these things always seem worse before than they actually are, just go, be honest and hold your head high! That is being strong for your kids.

I hope you have someone going with you.

    good luck and be strong
  • Thank you. I have chosen to go alone. I wanted to come across as independant rather than having to rely on others like he makes out. I am not feeling very confident. Probably normal to feel this way as you say.

I hate feeling this way. I have done the tidying, cleaning, washing.. even scrubbed the skirting boards. Must be stressed. But the house looks great, lol.

You can go there alone - but remember we are all standing behind you, pinnies on, rollers in hair, whacking our rolling pins into our hands - and if that doesn't keep a smile on your face:cool:

Good luck hon - keep it cool and calm.

I'm happy to put rollers in my hair and I have a hefty wooden rolling pin, but I don't have a pinny. Will an Anchor Butter apron do instead?
I'll be thinking of you RainbowDreamer and I'm sure that the judge is going to see through your ex's pitiful attempts and lies.
    Good luck xx

Not at all, it IS a big day, and I say that not to scare you but to make you realise that you are in no way "wrong" to feel this way, it is totally normal and not to fear this worry.

You have huge support here, please do post as it will at least pass the time for you this evening to help you get through this evening xxx
