Tomorrow is court. Ex has applied for full residensy. Has accused me of abusing and being violent to the children.
I know I am innocent, but cant help but worry.
He has made accussations weekly for the last 2 months. I feel sick to my stomach. He has painted me out to be a terrible mother and a horrible person.
I know if I feel intimidated or controlled tomorrow I will just give in and back down.
I feel so stupid for not being able to be stronger for my kids.
Sorry just need an outlet I think.
The kids are still with you, despite what I have highlighted above. It must be horrendous to have those accusations made about you. If they were being taken seriously though the kids would have been removed from your care long ago. They are still in your care and your ex is portraying himself as the nasty, malicious individual he is.
I hope your day in court wasn't as traumatic as you were fearing yesterday and that your ex got a huge wake up call and put in his place.0 -
Sorry have not been on, have been spending some quality fun time with my boys.
Felt terrible this morning and the judge sat at the front was very scary.
It's been referred to family court, but the judge was very harsh with his solicitor. Asked several times where their evidence was. Told them off for bringing up accussations they hadn't included in the court papers.
I will get to bring my concerns up at the next hearing. But his residency order has been dismissed. We also sorted Xmas access through solicitors. I put my foot down to not seeing my kids Xmas morning. He wanted to take them Xmas eve morning to Xmas day afternoon then give me 24hrs with the miss and take them again.
I have allowed him to take them early Xmas day afternoon and then keep them for 3 days and 3 nights so they are not messed about.
Thank you so much for your support.0 -

The above seems very positive to me. The judge obviously saw right through your exs malicious lies and attempts to blacken your name. I get the impression that the solicitor will tread far more carefully in future. The last thing he wants is to anger another judge. OP your exs case is falling apart and all his silly games are doing is strengthening your position. You are doing one of the most difficult jobs in the world raising kids on your own. Hold your head up high, remain dignified and continue to do just as you are. You will win this.0 -
Possibly not. Raising accusations without mentioning them in court papers is such a basic error, that I think the solicitor is getting tired of this and is just doing as he is told, leaving the client out to dry.make_me_wise wrote: »I get the impression that the solicitor will tread far more carefully in future.
