The good news is I now have a full set of course materials to sell as this course is one I dropped out of previously. I've spent some time this evening digging out all of the supplementary materials so I shall list it soon. :T

 my last day off today and I haven't achieved half the things I wanted to. I shouldn't set myself such high expectations.

I have been doing some studying this morning, and have walked the dog so feeling rather virtuous.:A

Today is going to be about doing what I feel like doing. No pressure, and I haven't got to go anywhere.

Hope everyone has a good day!

I think it's a great idea to have a no-pressure day, Jwil, and you deserve it.

Don't worry about not achieving everything you wanted to achieve - when you think about it, that's probably impossible and you don't want to demand so much of yourself. There is ALWAYS stuff to be done, you will never get to the bottom of a to-do list, so just accept that and do what you can.

You are always busy and get loads done, you should be proud of yourself.

    Thanks peaceandfreedom :A

I think part of the problem is, I keep looking at things that need to be done and then getting disheartened as there's too much to do.

For example, this morning, I thought I'd look through a couple of boxes of stuff to sort through them and get stuff ready for ebay. I went over to where the pile of boxes were - discovered the ones I want are at the back, and I don't have anywhere easy to shift the stuff in front to. So I gave up. It's why this house doesn't get any clearer, and why we still have so much to get rid of

So, I have tackled a different area instead to try and make some space to shift the boxes to. :T

I agree with peaceandfreedom you do achieve loads jwil :D

Good that today is a bit of a holiday for you - its nice to have those days where there is no pressure to achieve anything - usually you find you can accidentally achieve lots as you usually do things you want to do :)

I don't achieve as much as you do :D

I've had a fairly relaxed day today, have done a bit of tidying. I meant to come on here a little while ago, but was sat here with a dog whinging that he wanted a walk, and a cat whinging that she wanted feeding, so now all demands are duly met and I'll hopefully get a little peace and quiet :D

Other than the little bit of tidying I did earlier, I've mainly been reading (i.e. decluttering :D). For some unknown reason, I have 'the contented baby book' in my collection  so I thought I'd educate myself. I'm now terrified  :rotfl:

That's because the author has extreme and impractical views, no-one would bring up their child like that. She certainly doesn't because she's never had kids herself.

When it comes to babies, people should do what they feel works best for them and their baby. I have found that the more relaxed and go-with-the-flow you are about the whole thing the better. A relaxed Mum tends to mean a relaxed baby. So try to forget you ever read it. :)
