Couldn't agree more P&F..and you will also note that she has no suggestions for when you have more than 1 child..what an earth happens to an elder child when you are fixating on a routine for the baby? Complete bonkers. Limiting for everyone I say.

    Anyway rant over!:D

You are all sounding HIGHLY productive..can I employ you?!:p I too suffer from too high expectations with my lists for the day. I then get so disheartened..it puts me off. Plus when I don't work have to pick up DD2 at 3:15 which is only half a working day it feels..anyway little and often Is the answer I guess and I am going to try and do the non standard job challenge..can't remember who suggested it ( apols to that poster) but its a great idea. Try and do say 2 jobs a week that are piling up and getting you down..

Keep on going guys. Hope first week back isn't too miserable jwil

I've now finished it. At my last post, I hadn't even got to the timetables :eek::eek::eek: Seriously, how can anyone live like that? Are you not supposed to leave the house for a year?

Anyway, I'm not even sure why I have the book, I think it must have been in a bundle that DH bought home for me.

See, I don't think I am very productive - certainly not compared to DDFW and HI :D The challenge sounds good though

I'm so dreading going back tomorrow :( I've got a lot on and for the next 4 weeks, have to be 30 miles away by 7am on one day each week to stomp the streets. Really looking forward to that.

The good news is though, that I have two days off next week too, as I have to use up the last of my holiday :T :j :T :j and then it's only 2 or 3 weeks until I have a week off :D

I don't achieve as much as you do :D

I've had a fairly relaxed day today, have done a bit of tidying. I meant to come on here a little while ago, but was sat here with a dog whinging that he wanted a walk, and a cat whinging that she wanted feeding, so now all demands are duly met and I'll hopefully get a little peace and quiet :D

Other than the little bit of tidying I did earlier, I've mainly been reading (i.e. decluttering :D). For some unknown reason, I have 'the contented baby book' in my collection  so I thought I'd educate myself. I'm now terrified  :rotfl:

Shucks jwil - i'm sure i'm just good at making it sound like i do alot :o Ooh with the book does this mean you may be having mini jwils? :D

    Hi brizzle and peaceandfreedom

Rather than getting disheartened with To Do lists why not try TaDa Lists ? I borrowed this fab idea from Cheery who *i think* borrowed it from someone else - so instead of having a to do list where as you say its nigh on impossible to get everything done for some reason  A TaDa List celebrates all the things you have achieved. i bet once everyone lists all the things they've done in a day they'd be pretty impressed with themselves :T
    CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460
    MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100

*shudders* I don't know :D. DH would like to and I kind of would too, but the reality is it terrifies me  I love kids, but I don't know if I could cope with a small baby. If I could give birth to a 1 year old I'd be ok. But then they eventually turn into teenagers :pale:

Wow! How do you even make one? And any linkys to pictures please :D

It was really easy actually, I got it from Kirstie's programme at Christmas. You use an empty jar, put in whatever it is you want (I've used a Lego minifigure) and fill with water, a drop of glycerine and glitter.

I'm really quite pleased for a first attempt (I've always liked snowglobes anyway, and I like Lego ) I did try to take a picture but it didn't come out brilliantly. I'll try and post one when I get a chance.

That sounds like a good idea and quite motivating!

Yuck, had a rubbish day today, lots to do and two meetings that seriously overran so not a lot of spare time. I've got a nice early start tomorrow so really looking forward to that.

Not much to report otherwise really! Hope everyone's had a good day x

Hopefully then with an early start you may get an early finish? And Grr! to meetings that over-run too x
