:j:j:j:j:j:j:j Just received a cheque for £87 to cover my missing ebay items :T:T:T:T:T:T
I'm rather pleased about that as I wasn't sure they would pay out. Once that clears I will be able to make a nice payment.
I've also received a load of address labels which I ordered printed up so that will save me time on my posted items in future. It was a cheap offer too, so didn't cost me a lot.
My ebay item that was returned has now arrived so I'm happy about that too.
:j:T yay fab news all round!I haven't had very productive days really today and yesterday.
We did manage to declutter 2 dvds yesterday, and I finished a book to sell.
Today we have shifted the broken breadmaker, some old curtains and some tatty clothing to the recycling centre. We went booting this morning, and I only bought one book.
I have been sorting through my books today and putting some out for boot sale that I now have on my kindle. I've almost got another box to go.
I've also listed 21 items on ebay for me, and 1 for DH.
Hope everyone is having a good day!

Well, I have to say that this all sounds very productive to me, Jwil. :T
I haven't had toooo bad a day - finally put the Christmas decs into the loft and did a few other jobs around the house that I've been meaning to do for ages. Made THE most tasty stew for tea and have just polished off a slice of homemade apple pie.
Tomorrow, as far as I'm concerned, 2012 starts properly as I start to put into place new habits for a new me and a new-look home. That means no more apple pie for a kick-off.0 -

Glad you had a good day peaceandfreedom, stew sounds good, don't like cooked apples though, so the pie's all yours
Good luck with the new year! I would join you but I've just eaten chocolate krispie cake for breakfast (there was cereal in there ). Hmmm, I'm so healthy"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Today I am waiting in for a parcel. So I have decided I will mostly be studying.
Doggo was walked early so I didn't miss them, and I have to pack some ebay stuff too. I do want to go into town later so hoping they are not too late (I want to pay in my cheques), but then conversely the later they are the more studying I get done

Hi peaceandfreedom - i agree it did sound like jwil achieved loads :T Also sounds like you got alot done too - its nice getting those niggling jobs done and out of the way isn't it? And i am most jealous of your absolutely gorgeous sounding stew and apple pie!
I like the sound of you putting some new things in place for yourself too honI think this is something alot of us are tackling - I've got a fair bit of weight to lose but lost 9lb (weighed myself yesterday) i can only assume this is down to my upset tummy
- but i'm trying to keep this weight off and am also trying to lose another 2 stone  - i was going to leave this until after reducing the debt but i feel better and look better when this weight is off me and at first (because it doesn't cost anything) i'm starting with regular exercise rather than changing meals.
Please update us with your progress hon - i find it does motivate me when i read about people doing something for theirselves or their homeretiredandskint wrote: »Sounds like busy day to me jwil.
I've just broken the £30 barrier on Eb*y and no longer make losses on the postage.:j
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
Retired and skint well done on your eb*y sales :T:T:T Last year i showed my friend how to list something on eb*y. Got them all set up and signed in etc. First item sold i *think* for about £30 - this year they are going on holiday with the money they've made from it.
I listed a few more bits on eb*y yesterday - still need to list about another £90 worth for my target  - Lots of things have watchers but lots of the things that didn't sell over the last few days had watchers too so we will see :cool:Today I am waiting in for a parcel. Hope the parcel is exciting - and well done on getting on with studying in the meantime :T
Today i've done a survey and some bits towards amaz*n vouchers. Yesterday i got very cold and was shivering away even though i had 2 layers on and OH said it was boiling with the heating on high. Was convinced i was getting flu or somethingAnyway i didn't sleep well last night and so have very little energy for things to day - just when i really wanted to make some inroads with stuff Grr!

Well done on the weightloss DDFW, though it's not nice when it's through being ill. Hope you feel better soon.
So far today I have not picked up a course book
I have however caught up with lots of surveys, entered some competitions (I have a new aim of 5 per day as someone I know keeps winning good stuff) done some dishes and cooked some eggs to make Slimming world scotch eggs for lunches and pickled eggs for DH.

Well, parcel turned up :T so I've been into town and paid in my cheques
.
I stopped in Boots to have a mooch about and discovered I have £35 points on my card. So I decided that I would treat myself to an electric toothbrush. I've never had one before and have wanted to try one for ages. The one I bought was half price too, so I still have £17 of points left for the future. I also got 4 bottles of baby body wash for £1 :T I figure it will do me for shower gel for the time being. It's all the same stuff anyway and if it gives me baby-soft skin then who's complaining"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
My OU material for my next course has turned up too :T but
I wasn't expecting it, but glad it's turned up as it's always a pain trying to rearrange delivery. I'm a bit  as I was trying to re-read an old course before it turned up to refresh my memory. I did do some this morning, but a few pages of one book of 7 is not a huge amount of progress"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0
