Hey guys, feeling rubbish again today. Most annoying!
I didn't get anything extra on this weekend in the end which was a shame but might try and do some more this weekend."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
how frustrating that the tablets are not helping. my ex sister in law felt ill all through her pregnancy as well.
I cant believe how you find the will power to list so much on ebay - it really really frustrates me.
Our building work is in full swing now - mud everywhere!! My DS and I are still going on that holiday - OH wants to crack on with building and is quite happy for me to go away for a few days - so cant wait - 2 weeks on Monday
The weather has been awful here and usually its only mud at the horses, now its mud at home too - muddy chickens, muddy dogs, muddy kitchen floor. Concrete should go in foundations this week so at least some progress is being made
I hope you feel a little better today.0 -

Thanks LAMI haven't actually been taking the tablets, though I should have done yesterday
. I'm feeling a bit better today though so that's good.
Glad the building work is progressing and hope you have a lovely holiday!
I hate ebay listing, but I need the money and hate the clutter even more so it's a necessary evil for me. They are saying on the ebay boards that there is free listing for 150 items between 1st and 9th September, so hoping that's true though I haven't seen anything myself yet.
If it is, it combines with some time off for me, so the aim will be to get all 150 for me, and maybe some for DH too if he sorts anything out."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Just been doing my sums for next month and am short again, mainly due to trying to catch up from this month. Will definitely have to make an effort to get stuff on ebay.
My car's got to go back to the garage today after last month's £500 bill because it's still not driving well . I really hope I don't have another huge bill _pale_"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Hi all
((hugs)) jwil - hope you feel better soon hon - wish there was something i could help you with but living a million miles away (or thereabouts) i don't know that there's anything i can do from such a distance? but if there is anything i can help with holler
Hope the car gets sorted soon for you too x Don't know if you saw my thread ? Basically i'm trying to keep within my current amount on target 7 - having not budgeted for the interest being added, forgetting that the money coming in for bay of e included the postage costs i had to pay  and also realised - the overspends on food  Will probably happen again this week with the fab meat offer at l*dl tooSo i'm struggling to keep in the same financial position too
Next month is a dear month as well - holiday spends, insurance to pay for and car tax - bleurgh!!!!
But Wowzers on 150 items over 9 days  Got about 50 to re-list depending on what sells so that 100 new items to find  Could do with the money to be honest as well
Ooh LAM you're off on holibobs :T Lets hope Mr Lam makes amazing prgress in your absenceBut bless him for staying home and cracking on with the work
Best 'fess up nowwent out to spend a £1 as a small treat as a pick me up - didn't find anything and spent £17 :eek::eek: this was on items reduced from £75 but still - here i am struggling financially and then i spend money  1 of the skirts i got i've wanted for several months now but today it was down to £7 so i finally snaffled it. The other skirt i thought would be cute for work. I have 1 skirt for work and have to confess i've been going in again in leggings and baggy shapeless tops
I do *need* to make more of an effort but i'm not sure i should have spent £10 on a skirt to do so
And if i'm honest its both about how i feel about how i look in what i'm wearing and how i present myself in work and also i realised i'd be horrified if i bumped into someone i know whilst on my way into work in my super drab work stuff looking like i'm still waking up
Still i hope the receipts in the bag and i can make a proper decision - especially with sorting stuff out for the bay of e. If i do decide to keep them i'll make the decision to wear the work skirt this week
Still i suppose this is why i have a frittering budget ?CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Frittering budgets are there to be spent! At least you can make a decision and take it back if you want to.
What's the Lidl meat offer? I rarely go there despite the fact there are two here. I probably should make more of an effort but DH is a bit of a brand snob sometimes.
I'm a bit nervous about the car, but kind of hoping it relates to the work done before and not anything new, which would be an additional cost.
I'm off for a week and a half after today so should have plenty of time to get ebaying and hopefully some car booting done too."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Payday today hurrah! Though I must have messed up my sums yesterday as it's worse than I thought. I've got to try and raise approx £400 this month. Hopefully if I get my listings done (if they confirm it) then that should help.
I've sold a book today, which adds £4 to the fund, and withdrew yesterday about £8 from amazon so that will be £12 towards the shortfall. It all helps!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

I think the offer is turkey steaks - i'd suggest putting them in a plain freezer bag and onced cooked your Mr will never knowI do prefer certain things that are branded but thats because i have tried the cheaper versions too.
What a fab long break for you and just in time for the bay of e as well :TCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
