I am missing the posts from peaceandfreedom and ebayqueen - hope they're both ok x
Hope you've had a nice day jwil
Weather stayed dry for the carboot - and warmer than last week but not hot which was goodNot sure if the weather in the week put some sellers off though. Managed to pick up a few things - including a book :T Always prefer to get something if i'm up so early - especially after i hardly had any sleep last night x
Yes, I am missing peaceandfreedom and ebayqueen as well, hope they are both fine. Brizzle too hasn't been around for a while.
Glad you got some nice things at the boot sale, it was wet here so we didn't go."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hey everyone, we were in Wales for most of the day yesterday and I was very tired so didn't get round to posting.
I've updated my lists - I've sold a few things on ebay and a couple of books too on ebay and amazon so that's all good. I haven't had a chance to get anything new on, but did pull off a load of books which have had their day and they will now go to car boot sale and charity.
Decluttered some more old perfume bottles, and think I have a few left so they will probably go soon too.
Not much else to report really, hope everyone is well"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
I missed you yesterday but knew you were going out. Hope you had a nice time x
Well done on the continued decluttering :T i need to find some new things to list as am desperate to get the pennies in! The thing is i am too tired after work to get much done at all - i really need to try harder!
Well done on the sales too - i,ve had 1 or 2 which is always encouraging but as i say i now have the task of finding stuff to list.

Well done on the decluttering/selling x0 -
Thanks guys
The recycling guys are going to love us this week, our box is so full of paper! It's nice that DH has decided to clear some of his too as he has loads of magazines and papers lying around.
We've got someone coming out to give a quote for some work to the house which needs doing this week, so I shall have to make a concerted effort to get some more pennies in.
I've got very long days for the next couple of days so will not be able to get a lot done, but I shall try."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
I've made an £11 pad today.
Now for confession time - I've bought a new phoneI've now joined the ranks of the technologically advanced. It was quite expensive as I won't have a contract so I obviously had to pay for the phone, but I had some cashback which I put towards it, which brought the price down a little. It means I've added £185 to target one though which has come down by the £11 today. I do need therefore to get some extra cash in and clear it.
Very naughty of me as it was something I've wanted, but didn't overly need.It will come in very handy though, so although I felt a bit sick, I don't regret getting it.

Lol - at the end of the day you only live once
Where do all your perfume bottles come from? Have you kept them over the years?i need to find some new things to list as am desperate to get the pennies in! The thing is i am too tired after work to get much done at all - i really need to try harder!
I am the same DDFWI sit all day thinking of all the stuff I can / should do in the evening and then it just fizzles out.
Took a leaf out your book JWIL and downloaded another SIX books to my kindle yesterday all free lol :rotfl: One day I might get the time to read them!
I sold a few bigger items on ebay and added some of my savings which also makes me feel a bit sick but I really want to try for the lower interest rate on my loan.
Hope everyone has a good day0 -

Woohoo ! Jwil - if you've bought it then enjoy it!I've no idea what will happen when my contract runs out - they seem really expensive now  I figured i was quite lucky when i got mine its £22 a month - whereas before i was putting £10 on PAYG but running out of credit very quickly and i didn't have internet on it etc. Now i can get on the internet all the time have thousands of minutes call time included and thousands of texts too and as it was a contract the phone was free and i got cashback too and a gift which retails at £80 which i wasn't expecting but was very happy with
I may not be able to afford a new contract though when this one ends as i'm not increasing my payments

Good Luck on the lower interest rate LAM - when i used my savings to debt i felt the same - it took me a bit of time to adjust to the fact that it was the right thing to do. Now once i'm debt free i have a double task of getting some savings put away as i've none nowand also overpaying the mortgage
Well Done! on your sales tooI still don't know what kindle to choose for my gift
