I did get a little more decluttering done last night - mainly magazines. I'm not very productive in the evenings
They need to go though so it all counts

Erm... it takes 3500 books_pale_
In true mse style though, there are few paid for ones on there.
I personally like the old style keyboard kindle, so if I was to get another one, would get that again (It's only available in 3g version now, not the wireless one that I have). But plenty of people like the new touch screen one which I haven't tried.
I'd always be lost without my computer as well, I hope it gets fixed soon."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Had a bit of a rejig about this morning and have paid another £262 today. I've also given myself a shiny new siggie.
I saw the quote and liked it.
I've got a new target 1, and once that is clear things will be much easier financially. There's very little spare money in the pot, so it won't go down very quickly, but every little helps as they say, and hopefully the rest will be trickling down as well.
I've bundled up my mortgage and debt as it makes it seem less to me
I didn't get any decluttering done last night, but hope to be productive tomorrow as DH has to work."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Shame DDFW - I would feel lost without my computer too - I think I would suffer withdrawal symptoms if I couldnt sit playing with my spreadsheets!Had a bit of a rejig about this morning and have paid another £262 today. I've also given myself a shiny new siggie.

Good quote !I have found out if I can pay £3k () off my loan I can drop my interest rate by nearly half!! So I am on a mission even if I have to pay the dreaded interest on my overpayment. I have some equipment on Ebay and might add some from my 'emergency fund' as it will be worth it in the long run and do still have a credit card (owing nothing) in case of an emergency.

No, I'm not 'allowed' to read them until I've cleared most of my paper books (my rule, as I have several hundreds of books in my 'to be read' pile). I have read a lot on there as many are books that I love, but there are more on there that I haven't read and many of those will be ones I read once and then delete I'm sure. I do use it when I am away though. I do read a lot though, and always have a book with me in case I get a spare 5 minutes.Good quote !I have found out if I can pay £3k () off my loan I can drop my interest rate by nearly half!! That would be a brilliant result, and well worth going for! Good luck with the sales, and raising the cash. I'd probably use the emergency fund as well as it's likely to save you money in the long term."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
