It's achievable for me as I have a lot of similar items to sell. If all of them needed to be in different categories, it would take a lot longer.
I think you just open another account if you want one on ebay. I don't bother, though DH has one as well, so I list his stuff on there, and mine and most of the house stuff on mine. If you are restricted on one though, it's likely they will restrict any other one as well, but you are perfectly entitled to have more than one, unless you've been suspended.
With our mortgage payments, we decided to take the lower payment and have the extra cash. It's needed more at the moment. I'm going to give them a call and see if I can get some details to do an electronic transfer though so if I've got a spare £1 or two, I can make a small overpayment. I'd prefer to be overpaying, but once the debt is gone I can do that then. I'll be in a better financial position having less debt than having less mortgage right now.
Ta for the eb*y advice hon x
That seems the right plan with the mortgage - its extra disposable income, in a way, for you so as you say that makes everything else easier
I was speaking to someone the other day and they said that overpaying the mortgage only makes a difference in the first few years and after that there's not much point ? i couldn't see that that was right considering interest is always going on so any overpayments must help but i also couldn't be bothered getting into a big debate about it. For me anything that brings the mortgage free date forward has got to be good and the only thing that i've any control over with that is the payments.
Actually i got a letter from my bank about having a review - i might take them up on it - i need to set up various pots for the bills eg house insurance, car bills etc. by the end of the year + i'm hoping they might give me an idea of the position i need to be in on my mortgage in order for them to offer me a mortgage  i know i don't *need* to put my mortgage with my main bank but if i've an idea where i need to be it might give me the proverbial kick up the derriere and get me moving on with things! But again a review = spending time which i am a bit short of and we don't seem to be the couple that takes holidays from work to get things done - we take time off and go away or potter around together! Plus my fella gets more hols than me from work so it can really affect the things we can do together if i use my hols for practical things. Gosh i must sound all mushy - putting this in context me and OH don't see each other every day due to our shifts and then when its the weekend we both have different commitments too so quality time is a big thing for us x
Had an enquiry for the cost of postage for one of my items - lost the information on new pricing in the house chaos and am not going to the post office today or tomorrow - especially as i have had a few queries from eb*yers about different items which i've gone out of my way to answer as quickly as possible and then had no response from them

I think when you are making overpayments, those at the start of the mortgage will have a bigger effect simply because that is when the balance is the largest. Any overpayment will reduce the amount you owe so you'll pay less interest.
I guess if you are only going to make one overpayment, then it would have most effect at the start. If you are making regular overpayments then it makes no difference. In the grand scheme of things, any overpayment will help you pay of the mortgage earlier so is beneficial.
Can your postage question not be answered on the royal mail website? You could always use the pricefinder and it will give all the options for you."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". 4 days of free listing again this weekend. I'll probably try and get some stuff on, but we'll see.
I have sold another of my BIN items today for £8 so that will count for this month when I sort myself out.
My ebayer repaid and I have the money so that's all good now too."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
I understood that it was for mobile applications - does that mean you have to list it from a mobile phone?0

Dont worry I think I have just read it wrong -
- I was hoping for some free listing as I have found a couple more expensive things that should sell well.
Have a good long weekend everyone :beer:0 -

My email said mobile too, but on the website it said different. That's good as I don't have a smartphone!
Good luck with your listings"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Howdy everyone
Hope you are all well and enjoying the weekend.
We've been away for a couple of days and had a lovely break. It's made a big difference. It's the first time in a few years we've been away and not had the van break down on us :T :j :T :j We were back earlier than expected today as well so have been out for a nice meal tonight too.
I'll update properly tomorrow with my plans for the month.
Have done all the relists today so will see if I feel like putting anything new on over the next couple of days. I've got a load of scheduled listings that I had prepared a while ago so I'll pop those on too.
I sold another two items whilst I was away so that's good too. One ebay buyer has decided they don't want the item they bid on  but said they would pay for it minus the postage so they've done that which is very nice of them (it was only a 99p item)."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Morning everyone
Been to a couple of boot sales this morning. Not bought much, a couple of bits for DH who couldn't go which he will reimburse me for, and a couple of bits for me as well. Not very exciting - a large quantity of fly screen material for £1 (I've been looking to get some for years) and an unused Olay moisturiser for 50p. That will save me some money in the future, a DVD which will watch and go and a couple of small bits too."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
