Hey jwil - hope you feel better soon x
I too haven't had much time to get much done this weekend - am still trying to sort out this work/life balance thing x
Catch up more later - very sadly work is looming largeCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hi Jwil, DDFW, Brizzle and everyone,
Sorry I've gone AWOL for a while. Things are fine, though, just been very busy and more busyness to come!
The garden is going well, lots of stuff planted out and a greenhouse full of tomatoes. :T
Still in the throes of decorating and working and worrying, usual stuff.
Isn't the weather glorious at the moment, really makes a difference to how I feel. Won't last much longer apparently but still, it's been good.
Jwil, you are amazing the way you get so much listed on ebay - it takes me ages to do even a small listing. Haven't made much progress towards my targets either but a little is better than nothing.
DDFW, hope you had a lovely adventure day - can't wait to hear all about it when you get a minute. The old work/life balance thing is very hard isn't - personally I'd prefer all life and no work but that would take a lotto win.0 -

Thanks DDFW, hope your day is ok."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Hey peaceandfreedom, nice to see you again!
Glad lots of busyness going on and the garden sounds fab!
The weather has been lovely, but I won't complain if it cools down a littleLots of sun still would be nice though.
I don't know whether it's because I've done so much listing, I tend to get into a routine. I also will sell lots of similar items at the same time, so can often have them in the same category, same postage, and just need to adjust the title, photo and description if I need to. My listings are generally fairly basic, and whilst I will take care to list any specific faults, I don't go out of my way to 'sell' the item with lots of flowery descriptions.
If I'm selling a lot of different items, it does take a little longer though.
I'd love the lotto win here too"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Well I've just sold one of my BIN items, so happy with that. It's only a small £2 to add, but it still counts. :T"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

In even better news, just went in to get my Euromillions for tomorrow, and had an odd £1 in my account. Decided to buy a scratchcard with it, and won £20 :T :T So have withdrawn that and will add it to my total for this month.
Here's hoping it's just a precursor to £79 million or whatever it is tomorrow"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Wow! jwil you are really lucky with the lottery :T:T:T
And well done on the sale of an item too
I had someone message me just before an item ended asking for cost of postage (going abroad) but i wasn't on the comp at the time - even if i was i would have been hard pressed to respond in time  So i replied and said i was happy to get an exact price (bulky item) if they would like ? And no reply
Peaceandfreedoooooommmmmm!!! :j:j:j Lovely to have you backIt has been glorious weather - i've not done much in the way of gardening, instead just been making sure my garden doesn't dry out
And woo! to a greenhouse full of tomatoes too
I must admit with the nice weather i have neglected alot of things- washing, tidying etc. so now playing catch-up
I also need to get selling on the bay of e again - pennies are low indeed

Naturally I'll share it, I'm sure I'll be able to just about afford to chuck you a £5-er each"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Morning everyone,
Just having a cuppa :coffee: then trying to squeeze in 1 or 2 little things before the dratted workAm really starting to notice the commute again now - 2.5 hours if everything runs on time (round trip) it really is a huge chunk of time!
Still it is tuesday and a nice long weekend is on the horizon
Hope everyone has a good dayCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
