Numpty people as usual. Within minutes of them winning items, I had emails from two people asking questions that they should have asked before bidding. Who knows if they will turn into problems."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I have been badly out of the loop for a while..well a week or so..which is AGES!! Too much work and too little time...hope everyone is OK though. DDFW..don't like the sound of you being exhausted. Take it easy if you can.
Jwil...you are the unstoppable car boot sale machine!!! You never flag. Well done on shifting some stuff. We are slow on sales again at the moment. Need to have a renewed go at everything but hard to fit it all in
Have a good eve all

hi Jwil and friends, got back late last night so trying to catch up.
I had an item from the week before I went away that was not paid for so emailed the supposed buyer again today. If no response I assume my next step is to open a case? Very frustrating but hey ho.
I am going to catch up on all your posts as I really need to up my debt busting now.
Hope you are feeling a little better now DDFW. I have just put myself on some wellwoman tablets (managed to get OH to get wellman lol as 2 for 1 and he paid) am hoping that I might get a little more energy.
Hope you had a nice break Lam. I open a case automatically now on day 4-5 unless I've heard from the buyer. I have no time to be waiting around for someone to pay. They still have 4 days to pay from then, so plenty of time.
I've been taking some women's vitamins for a while now. I think they are making a little difference to how I feel."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hey everyone.
£4 pad for me today. It's a hectic old week this week with lots of rushing about to do. Have managed to get out and see the torch though, so glad about that.
Hope everyone is well"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hey good to know you saw the torch too. We had a great time seeing it come into Bristol on a boat..thousands down by the harbour. Quite a sight.
Great evening. Spent £35 on pizza and drink for family (with friends)afterwards but lots of freebies as a Tuesday eve and a new place. It was excellent so well worth it.

I've now got an INR on ebay  so that's nearly £30 down the pan . Oh well, at least I can put the claim in from RM.
I had another one yesterday as well, but they messaged back to say they had received mine, it was another seller they meant to contact thankfully."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Morning,
what is an INR?
I have opened a case for my item - how long does it take before I can relist it? I am hoping it will sell again as it had quite a few bids on.
Where can you see the route of the torch? I would like to see that. The weather has been so nice since I got back - it def lifts the spirits0 -
Hi all
LAM - i believe INR = item not received - am sure jwil will correct me if i'm wrongI agree too - the lovely weather just makes it so much easier to do things
So how is everyone today ? Any plans for le weekend ? I am hoping to go out on a mini adventure this weekend - this may be known to others as a morning out somewhere, an afternoon out or even a day out - as its not been decided where the destination is or the timescales involved i am a tad unsure on the details and i've decided that going for an adventure makes it sound far more excitingUnfortunately my OH thinks i've gotten my hopes up too much - bless him! Doesn't he realise that to go somewhere different and have a coffee and cake or fish and chips is all i need?
Worrying how my adventures always lead (in my head anyways) to a seaside fish and chip shop or a cafe
I'm also trying to make him see that we don't need to spend a fortune in order to go out somewhere and have a nice time
- this is a small work in progress. I will of course report back on how it all turned out
I am also hopeful that the weather will stay nice for le carbootyI used to go carbooting on a regular basis years ago, i then somehow stopped, got out of the habit, maybe went to a few that had the same stalls / items week in week out and finding nothing new and no new carboots i stopped going. I am really enjoying it at the moment though - although i have been a bit shocked by some of the language used :eek::eek: and the near spats between sellers and buyers :eek::eek: Do you ever see anything like this jwil ?
I was also shocked last week that a stallholder had put some material down which she was putting items on she was selling - just next to her table and i saw 2 people just walk over the material and step over the goods to get to another stall  This left the material full of their muddy footprints - How rude! I have also gotten countless bruises on my legs from people whacking into me with their bags of stuff and no apologies whatsoever
I am quite chirpy / giddy at the moment as i have been able to make a bit of a dent in target 1I had wanted this paid off in full by 31st of this month and that won't happen now
But i am still pleased to have seen it go down a fair bit x

Hi LAM, DDFW is right, it's an item not received. With the case, you can close them 4 days after you open them, so that's when you can relist. Fingers crossed it sells again though.
You can see the route of the torch on the BBC website. Otherwise it might be worth having a look at your local council's website as I expect the info will be on there.
It's nice to see the good weather again, though it is very gloomy here today."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
