Dont forget to check out the parks direct, i have just booked 7 nights at Park resorts in July for £124 , Sun Holiday would have worked out more expensive for the equivalent nights stay, there are 4 night stays for £75 in July

wow that sounds good - which parks are they?

I've just checked out the park and date I want (Thorness bay - 4th June) and the price is £345 - so we wouldn't be going at that price!! That doesn't include ferry either. We usually pay about £90 -£120 with the sun offer. But thanks for that, I would never have checked if you hadn't said.

    I love to save money

always check how much it would be to book direct ! as often in term time it will be cheaper
but in school holidays you will definitely make a saving by booking with the SUN

Have just been browsing the parks and dates today. We haven't decided if we are going to book for october half term abroad (prob france or holland again) or whether we will just book a weekend somewhere like devon cliffs or back to north wales again and wait for the next promotion to book our october week.
I'm a bit reluctant to book october half term in this promotion as dd starts secondary school in september and not sure of the school dates yet!
Very tempted by a couple of french sites though. Going back to duinerell in may with canvas, and could easily see us going back again in october as well if there was availability in this promotion.:) also saw a site in belgium we fancy as well!
Decisions decisions. Not sure what to do.
Where's everyone hoping to go. Anyone for france or holland?
check your local councils website they should have the school dates up for the next year at least

we are hoping for Le Ranolien in Brittany for June half term again

La ranolien looks like a lovely site rachie. Lots of lovely sites in france!
DD fancies being near paris so as we can visit disney:)

As far as school dates are concerned dd does not know where she is going until we find out in february. Have checked council websites for one of the scools half term dates, but the other is not published yet as it is a faith school, and sometimes has slightly differnt term dates from the others.
we may just do a three nighter in the uk, and wait until the next round in april, unless we can glean some information between now and booking day next week lol.
Hope you get your first choice. I'm always excited on the day the site opens. Sad or what:D

You can check school half term dates via the local council. You will find they are pretty much the same, but if you put in the borough it will give you a good idea of when the kids are off school, I only know this as I did it yesterday! :)

I'm looking to get something in October half term, it's very late this year.
Whoever said 'Money doesn't bring happiness' isn't using it properly. :p
  • If I buy a priority form off ebay, can I use it? seeing as it wasn't sent to me direct?

It's a really nice site,my boys were loving it last yr as they have football all day / every day ! the weather was really great for the time of year :)

it's not far from where my in laws live, so we kill 2 birds with one stone :D

we love la Croix for doing disney eveen though its an hours drive away,as it has good site facilities / activities.
tried le chene gris one time and it was fab for disney, being only 15 mis drivebut we literally ued the site to sleep / shower and spent the whole days @ Disney really ! much smaller site with not much onsite ( not for older kids anyway )
