I had 2 holidays last year with the sun cost roughly 300 for both by the time we paid extras and upgraded we went to cleethorpes (thorpe park) which was amazing as we had the heatwave then we went to Scarborough in october (both school holidays) which was a great holiday but wasnt as good as most things were closed as it was out of season!! i got my priority code by email as i contacted them 1st as i thought i wudnt get 1 in time with the xmas post being backed up but i got my form and my bonus code this morning which is great!! cant wait to book will book our easter holiday in this campaign and our october holiday in the next/the summer campaign if it wasnt for the sun we wudnt go on holiday at all!!

Have just been browsing the parks and dates today. We haven't decided if we are going to book for october half term abroad (prob france or holland again) or whether we will just book a weekend somewhere like devon cliffs or back to north wales again and wait for the next promotion to book our october week.
I'm a bit reluctant to book october half term in this promotion as dd starts secondary school in september and not sure of the school dates yet!
Very tempted by a couple of french sites though. Going back to duinerell in may with canvas, and could easily see us going back again in october as well if there was availability in this promotion.:) also saw a site in belgium we fancy as well!
Decisions decisions. Not sure what to do.
Where's everyone hoping to go. Anyone for france or holland?

I had my priority form yesterday even though I haven't had a priority form for at least 2 years & haven't been on a Sun holiday for almost 3, so I'm smiling . I also had an email yesterday to say my form was in the post.

I don't know if we'll go this year as going during term time isn't on now the kids are older (& there are threats of fines for unauthorised absence - not very MSE!).

I have had 5 or 6 brilliant holidays in the past - no disasters at Butlins Minehead, Haven Doniford (quiet & entertainment not great but lovely location) or Parkdean Trecco Bay. All the caravans were immaculate & the chalets were fine. Maybe I was very lucky (or have low standards :rotfl:).

I've also always checked the price on each park site - the Sun has always been cheaper, even if not by a lot. I used to take the linen off & take my own, but we always paid for the entertainment.

Hi Art - I got my letter in the post but no e-mail. If you havn't heard anything by the end of the week give them a ring, it may have got lost in the post. If you've had an e-mail it must mean you've been allocated a priority. Good Luck!:)

Dont forget to check out the parks direct, i have just booked 7 nights at Park resorts in July for £124 , Sun Holiday would have worked out more expensive for the equivalent nights stay, there are 4 night stays for £75 in July
