Last time we wanted to go with family in more than one caravan we just sent off our booking forms and tokens in the same envelope with a covering letter asking for same dates/park. Its supposed to be 1st come 1st served, so who ever opens the envelope can at least see that you want to be together. We had three caravans that way.0

I was wondering about how going with another family would work - am expecting we'll share accomodation, which will be OK if big enough but we do need room for 4 kids, and 3 adults to at least 3 rooms in total - should work if one room has 2 sets of bunkbeds or something.
Our main trouble is as my partner is a teacher we can only go in school holidays as as we have never been before we haven't got a priority code. I've joined the list here - but it looks long! Will check out e-bay too.

Hi
Most of the holiday parks accommodation is caravans apart from butlins, and a few of the holiday parks have chalets.
The caravans have 3 beds at most but that means you get one double bedroom, and 2 twin bedrooms, and a pull out sofa bed in the living room.
so you could put the 4 kids in the twin rooms and have an adult on the sofa bed in the living room??
but it might be worth upgrading to get the bigger 12 foot wide vans?
Why not have a look at the accommodation layouts for your prefered parks and see how you would all fit in?
I was just responding as i noticed you mentioned possibly getting a room with 2 sets of bunk beds in it - and i don't think that is an option in a caravan..
Also have you looked at getting a holiday through the Daily Mail offer - see the thread on here ...last time i looked there was still availability for 4june and for easter school holidays..and for october half term.

We have done loads of Sun holidays through the years and this year we're going to go with another family. Am I going to be able to book 2 separate caravans/chalets on the one booking? There will be 7 of us (a 4 and a 3) and I can't see any info about being able to book 2 properties. Thanks!
If you book online you will need 2 different priority booking reference numbers to book 2 different caravans on the same site/ date..

Thanks Art. Do you think if I emailed saying I'd not received a priority booking form (even though I have) and they sent me another ref no that the 2 would be valid? Could be worth a try!0

you might as well try - but last time they emailed me a code it did not work on the night:mad:
I am still waiting for them to reply to my email asking for a code, i think they must be a bit snowed under with emails..
but you might as well try..

That's all really great info but I'm new to this whole saving money thing and haven't heard of these holidays before - How do the work? Do you have to get the papers and are there some sort of coupon things you need to collect?0 -

the Daily Mail offer has been open since thursday but there are still some school holiday dates left..
the school holidays dates were not advertised so are not in my post quoted above but when booking opened Easter, june half term, 20th july and october half term dates were all available..
You book online on this website:
http://www.breakfreeholidays.co.uk/dailymail
code words are
COAST
CHALET
DECK
SPRING
HOLIDAY
they have £10 per person holidays available so it works out about £5 more expensive for uk holidays than the sun promotion - but worth a look maybe?
the service charges are the same as with the sun and the ents passes seem to be 50p more expensive with the Daily Mail..

Can anyone help me with my query???
Was considering maybe doing a 7 night hol because on my booking form it says..
Holidays in Europe only
Tick here for a 7 night holiday ( include £19pp with your payment)
Is this as well as the £15pp, or instead of?
Was thinking of going to France 1st til 8th June, but there are no sailings from Dover 1st and 2nd June, for some reason....anyone able to advise?0
